UH West Oahu exploring creating Athletic Dept

Per a Ferd Lewis tweet and discussed on Sports Animals radio show, Chancellor Rockne Freitas is exploring creating an athletics department. Teams would competed in NCAA Div 2 and Pacwest Conf.

Since UHWO are the Pueo, I wonder what their football helmet emblem might look like?

What do you think of these? These are fierce and worthy of a football team in my opinion!

WA Warrior we are on the same page, that tattoo design by Shaw and colors are the way to go. Is that cartoon owl logo (that is not even a Pueo) official as the red & black colors? Too simple, we need to advance to a new Polynesian age.

Not a big fan of the feather look. It would be better in all solid, like one of those tat designs.
