Tensions Heating Up Between North and South Korea while SK Prez Lee Myung-Bak Widely Criticized for "Weak Response!"
President Lee Myung-Bak (above) is facing extreme pressure to issue a harsh response against the North!
(AP) So far, the amount of South Korean soldiers dead is 48 while North Korean losses are 0 for 2010! Forty-six seaman died from the sinking of the South Korean Navy ship Cheonan and 3 marines die from bomb shelling on Yeonpyeong Island! International experts blamed the sinking of Cheonan on a torpedo from a North Korean submarine. The Yeonpyeong Island shelling was a result of North Korea being threatened by South Korean military drills near North Korea's maritime border.
With the North being the aggressor in both attacks, the President of South Korea Lee Myung-Bak issued a threat that if they attack AGAIN, South Korea will retaliate by way of airstrikes!
This threat came amid criticism that the South Korean military is "slow and weak," in which they fired 80 rounds in response to the North's 170 rounds on Yeonpyeong Island! National Intelligence Service showed only 10 rounds from South Korea reached the North's west coast army barracks!
Myung Bak's threat brought him even more criticism, especially after a stunning revelation from SK's spy chief who dismissed information that the North Koreans were planning an attack on Yeonpyeong Island as early as August!
Many believe that the North is not capable of a full-scale war against the South because of its weak economy and the transfer of power from Kim Jong Il to his untested son, Kim Jong Un. However, many South Koreans question Myung-Bak's readiness and toughness to stand up to the North.
Despite the pressure, the South Korean leader must make a careful decision knowing that the city of Seoul, home to 10 million people, lies just 30 miles from the DMZ and just a short distance from North Korean military artillery! There are unconfirmed reports that the North has improved its missle capabilities that could easily reach the South's capital and its arsenal now has 5,200 rockets, a 100 more than it used to have, according to a South Korean military source!
South Korean officials warn that the North will strike again and goodness knows what will happen then?

Britney Spears Disses Ex-Husband and Says She's Suing!
Jason Trawick and Britney Spears (above). Spears fired back at her ex-hubby Jason Alexander, Star Magazine, and Radaronline for a fake audio tape of her talking with Alexander about being physically abused!
(Hollyscoop) Pop singer Britney Spears is angry at her ex-husband Jason Alexander, Star magazine and Radaronline for being involved in the release of an audio tape alleged to be HER talking about being physically abused by current boyfriend Jason Trawick!
Britney's manager Larry Rudolph said that the audio tape of her and ex-hubby talking about her being physically abused is a FAKE! Rudolph also confirmed that Britney is drawing up the papers to sue!
In a tweet released yesterday by Britney, she said: "Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya'll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana okole!"
Britney also tweeted to her fans about her new album to be released in March and that she was off on a romantic weekend with Trawick for her birthday!
"It's amazing that Star continues to try to defend their story by putting out more and more pieces of a fraudulent recording. Everyone knows it is not her," Rudolph told Us Weekly.
Vivid Entertainment Releasing Sex Tape of Ashton Kutcher's Alleged Lover!
Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore (above). Kutcher's alleged lover Brittney Jones is releasing a sex tape of her with Vivid Entertainment and is using the actor's name to market it! Kutcher threatens to sue!
(Radaronline) Here we go again, adult entertainment giant Vivid Entertainment threatening to be sued for releasing another sex tape! However, this ones different because it involves Ashton Kutcher's alleged lover, Brittney Jones, and Vivid plans to to market the sex tape that boasts, ""She claims to be Ashton's Mistress ... Could She Have Made A Superstar Stray?"
Woah, Ashton's pissed and is threatening legal action! He claims that Vivid is using his name illegally in order to make money! He sent the company a legal letter but. . . . .
Oh well, the lawyers from both sides will fight this one out!
Meanwhile, this is not good for Ashton and his wife Demi Moore! Brittney claimed a few months back that she and Ashton did the DEED with the actor in his home while Demi was out of town and that she has text messages to prove it. She also said that Ashton told her that the couple have an "open marriage" and that they have threesomes but the actor is not allowed to secretly sleep with women on his own.
Ashton and Demi have denied the rumors and have gone on a publicity run, of sorts, to "repair the damage" caused by the gossip.
Madonna, 52, Has Another Boy-Toy at her Disposal!
Madonna and Brahim Zaibat (above). Zaibat is another optimistic young man that is part of Madonna's world and he believes they can have a future together! We're counting the days. . . .
(Radaronline) Madonna, 52, has another young thing at her disposal in French dancer Brahim Zaibat, 24! The singer had a brief relationship with model Jesus Luz, 22, that ended a few months back and now she's on with Brahim, who is a devout Muslim while the singer is a follower of Kabbalah, an ancient Jewish religion. Interesting.
Oh, and get this, Madonna is only 8 years older than Brahim's Mom! The singer is planning to meet the dancer's Mom during Christmas.
Brahim claims that their relationship became public by accident. He adds that despite being with one of the World's most famous woman "life hasn't changed" and that he believes he can have a future together. Good luck.
Josh Duhamel Gets Kicked Off Plane!
Josh Duhamel (above) was kicked off a plane bound for Kentucky yesterday when he refused to turn off his Blackberry!
(TMZ) Actor Josh Duhamel (Transformers 2) was escorted off a plane yesterday for refusing to shut down his blackberry during takeoff!
Duhamel was on a flight from New York's Laguardia airport to Kentucky when, according to sources, the flight attendant told the actor to turn off his blackberry but he refused.
One passenger said that Duhamel was "very rude" and "taunted the flight attendant!"
When the flight attendant told him to turn off the blackberry on 3 separate times--the third time the actor laughed at his request.
The actor's reaction pissed off the flight attendant who called back up . . . and the plane which was already on the runway had to turn back!
Two US Airways reps came on board the plane and escorted Duhamel off the plane!
Passengers were miffed because the incident delayed the plane even further!
Duhamel's rep told TMZ Josh was texting on his BlackBerry about his flight being delayed. The rep adds, "He's sorry."
Former NBA player Antoine Walker Sued for Stealing Dude's Fiancee!
Antoine Walker (above). A man is suing Antoine Walker for $5M for stealing his fiancee!
(TMZ) Former Boston Celtic/Miami Heat player Antoine Walker is being sued by a man who claims that the NBA player stole his fiancee!
In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Chicago, Kevin Jenkins is suing Walker for $5M! Jenkins claims that he actually caught his fiancee and the NBA player having an "intimate moment" back in October! He also claims that the former Celtic/Heat taunted him and laughed in his face when Jenkins was later dumped by her, causing great emotional distress!
Jenkins said that he became such an emotional basket case that he thought of killing himself.
He's asking for $5M from a former NBA player who is broke and in debt! Walker may have made up to $100M during his 13-year playing career but he now finds himself in debt owing $12M to creditors with assets estimated at $4M. He filed bankruptcy in a Florida court last May. He squandered his money spending on a lavish lifestyle rather than investing the money. In 2009, Walker paid back 3 Las Vegas casinos for writing bad checks totaling over $900k!
He is currently working on a "comeback" at 34 years old in the NBA's D-League!
Looks like Jenkins should "count his losses" and just move on. She probably ain't worth it, dumping you for a loser like Walker! Just sayin'.
Survey: Most Muslims Reject Al Qaeda!
Muslims pray at India's Taj Mahal (above). A new survey shows how Muslims perceive their religion, its influence, and concerns with terrorism!
(CNN) Muslims in many parts of the world reject Al Qaeda and believe that democracy is the preferable way to govern than any other political structure in the world, according to a survey released by Pew Research Center's Global Attitudes Project.
The study found failing support for suicide bombings and mixed attitudes toward Islamic terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah.
The survey was conducted this spring in Jordan, Lebanon, Nigeria, Indonesia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey, with Nigeria the only one having any favorable view of Al Qaeda.
Muslims in every nation except Turkey felt that Islam had a positive influence in their nation's politics. At the same time, every nation but Turkey was concerned about Islamic extremism in the world and in their own countries. On the subject of Democracy, every country gave a positive response except Pakistan.
Lastly the survey also found support for gender segregation in the workplace in Pakistan, Egypt, and Jordan and positive views of harsh punishment for various crimes in Egypt, Jordan, and Pakistan.
Sarah Palin Gets 8 Visitors Plus One to Boost Ratings!
Two of reality TV's most intriguing stars Sarah Palin and Kate Gosselin (above) will have the "meeting of the minds" on December 5 when Kate and the kids travel to Alaska!
(CNN) Sarah Palin's ratings after her premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" on TLC have been low but the show may get a boost because Kate Gosselin and her 8 children are dropping by Alaska and the former VP candidate will lead them!
The Palin's and the Gosselin's are gathering together on the upcoming December 5 episode in which Kate says, "I have never camped for real."
In one scene, Kate and the children are wandering through the woods, when the mother of eight's face suddenly grimaces in horror as Sarah shoots her rifle!
Says Palin, "She's going to be relying on me to protect her."
Should be an interesting trip, you might say?

(Deadline Hollywood) Many movie industry experts believe this dramatic film "Frankie and Alice" starring Halle Berry, may be the actress' best performance yet since her Oscar-winning role in "Monster's Ball." Some call it a performance that may be Oscar-worthy.
Berry plays a woman who battles a multiple-personality disorder. It's a clash between her true self and her racist alter personality.
The film will have a trial run in LA in early December and then a possible wide-release in February.

New Law Tells TV Advertisers to Lower the Volume!
(The Wrap) Congress just passed a law that requires TV advertisers to have their ads not be louder than shows.
The Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act says the Federal Communications Commission must require advertisers to adopt technology that prevents overly loud commercials within one year.
Getting everyone to go along won't be easy though, since a wide variety of sources produce the commercials and the programming. (And pitchmen do love to scream.)
“Consumers have been asking for a solution to this problem for decades, and today they finally have it.” Rep. Anna G. Eshoo (D-Palo Alto), the bill’s sponser, said in a statement. “The CALM gives consumers peace of mind, because it puts them in control of the sound in their homes.”
Loud television commercials have been listed as a top consumer complaint in 21 of the Federal Communication Commission’s last 25 quarterly reports, Eshoo said.
The act passed by voice vote, and was OK'd by the Senate unanimously on Sept. 29 -- proving that loud commercials annoy politicians of all persuasions. Having passed both the House and the Senate, the bill will now be sent to President Obama for his signature.
LA Clippers Blake Griffin is For Real!
Blake Griffin (above). This is the view of Blake Griffin that many defenders around the NBA are getting lately--posterized!
The L.A. Clippers have a real find in the 6 foot 10 inch 250lb man-child in Blake Griffin. Their 2009 no. 1 draft choice is tearing up the first half of 2010 schedule with monster dunks, unreal leaping ability, and a quickness for a big man few have seen!
Griffin was out in 2009 but after a successful summer league and preseason debut in 2010, the former Oklahoma Sooner is probably the Clippers only bright spot on a losing team with a 4-15 record. So far, Griffin is second on the team with 20.7 ppg (behind Eric Gordon's 24.0), an average of 11.6 rebounds per game (which leads the team), and the supreme leader in highlight reel dunks! BTW, Griffin's 20.7 ppg leads all NBA rookies!
Against the Western Conference leading San Antonio Spurs this past Wednesday, Griffin scored 31 points and had 13 rebounds against Tim Duncan, Dejuan Blair, and Manu Ginobili who could only watch helplessly as the second-year player just dominated!
You can only admire Griffin for his style of play but Clipper officials must wince once-in-a-while thinking that their star player might get injured for his supposed "reckless style of play." He has already suffered a season-ending knee injury in his first season with the Clippers and that nightmare might still be in the "back of the minds" of some Clippers fans.
