Bottom of the 5th, Avila singles, followed by another home run by Matt Inouye.
On a side note:
Matt Inouye, so far 5-10 in tourney, with 2 homers, a double. For the year batting .341. The Matt Inouye of old has awaken.

Another on the side note:
LOL, Inouye with two homers today. Last time Inouye homered was against powerhouse Rice on May 21st of last year.

Kansas coming up, top of 6th, down 7-5. After Inouye homered, Sanchez got on with an infield hit, stole 2nd, but Lopez and Young endned the inning by striking out.
On a side note:
Last 2 homer game by a Bow was by Avila this year.

Top of the 6th, Kansas started innning with a ground out, walk, a single. Again ? blister as 2nd time trainer visits Fisherbaugh. Still looking and shaking his hand after every pitch, Fisherbaugh gets out of inning with an inning ending double play.
Will that blishter or whatever gets worse?

They're scrambling, changing thier catcher AND ptcher before this inning. Then they walk Wilder.

Bows up, bottom of the 6th:
Wilder walks to start the inning. Dupree attempts to sacrifice Wilder to 2nd, but hard bunt makes an easy out at 2nd. Frash, blopper advances Dupree to 2nd. Avila single in a run, but Frash thrown out at 3rd, 3-3-5. Inouye goes deep, but not deep enough, ending the inning.
Bows up 8-5.
