2018 Preferred Walk Ons
So far 3 PWOs have been announced. Kahale Huddleston (Hilo), Rob Funkhouser (San Ramon HS, CA) and Foi Sila (Farrington). There are more in the wings that will come to light after NLI day.
Huddleston and Funkhouser look like good candidates for the SB position in the R&S offense. Randall Okimoto says Sila has the potential to be like Lance Samuseva.

www.hawaiiwarriorworld.comStephen Tsai wrote:Farrington defensive lineman Fo‘i Sila will be joining the Warriors as a preferred walk-on this summer.
Sila played end and tackle for the Governors in 2017.
“He hits hard,” Farrington coach Randall Okimoto said. “He’s a hard hitter and he hustles. And he has good grades. He was one of our captains and leaders.”
Sila is 6 feet and 270 pounds. Okimoto said he has the potential to be like Lance Samuseva, who played for the Governors and the Warriors.
“He has to work on conditioning (because) he gained some weight, which was good to play on the inside,” Okimoto said.
Sila trains under both the Farrington staff and Chad Ikei.

K.H. appears fast against high school competition. Maybe another Dane McArthur?

I wouldn't be surprised if there are some more All-State guys becoming PWOs. The coaching staff knows who is available.
