I’d rather see Eldridge in there than Manoa. Better against the run.

Lewis is a real poor tackler.

I'm listening to the game on the radio and it's pretty depressing. I feel like Norm Chow days all over again.

Even Curran & Veneri questioning the play calling and also noting the poor defense, especially not being able to stop UNLV on 3rd & long

I hate hearing people talk about Hawaii needing to go 5-7 to go to the Hawaii Bowl. Bowl games are rewards for a winning season. Otherwise coach Mack would have gone 4 times and not fired

They leaving Barker one on one but he can’t make the play. Don’t know why they don’t use Ewaliko instead.

Rolo needs to fire his whole staff or resign

- 3 red zone trips, 3 FGs
- Cole McDonald 1 play
- Ryan Tuiasoa 2 carries
- 3rd & 8 in the red zone & they go St Juste up the middle and he gets stuffed

Enough said.

Well, it wasn't a romp by UNLV, but it sure was ugly for UH.

I was listening on the radio, yes, I believe we got out-coached too. Curran and Veneri questioning plays Hawaii runs and on special teams for on-side kicks. Last week against SDSU, the color analyst questioned the play calling and preparation of Hawaii coming off a bye week.

I’m glad I didn’t pay spectrum to watch this
POORLY COACHED GAME.

Rolo you suck!!!! Why can’t you let more second and third team players play, they can’t be any worse than your starters. For the last few weeks this team has been flat you needed to let other player play who know you may have 1 or more hidden gems on the bench. You are so stubborn, and your coaches are just as horrible.
Sorry rant over this coaching staff makes me so frustrated

Oh one more thing, DC why is the middle of your D always open for big plays? That should have been fixed a long time ago

I am sorry to say that Rolovich has not lived up to expectations as a head coach. For me, it is a bitter pill to swallow. I had such hopes for the guy. Still, maybe the suits at UH will keep him around for 5 more years.

The thing is it was a winnable game. I was not impressed with UNLV. I think Fresno will kill us. I don’t think that we can match them up front. They just man-handled SDSU. And with our patchwork oline and receivers who struggle to hang on to the ball I don’t see us scoring too much. Timoteo has always had good hands in high school and showed us some toughness. I don’t see any toughness out of Barker. Maybe try him instead? If a player is not producing next man up.

Disappointing performance by our Coaching staff, again.

Especially noticeable when some of our most knowledgable and supportive posters of the program are critical of the Coaching decisions still being made.
