Assuming Jankovic and Valdes are gone

Post by xer 21 »

Where do you see the team going next year? obviously, we still have a couple of scholarships to fill.

But Owies, Purchase, Buggs and Leland Green are good long term pieces.
When in doubt, burn it down.

If Mike Thomas and Stefan Jovanovich stick around, I think we finish no worse than 4th in the conference (probably higher). I think drammeh and niko being forced into action late in the season will pay dividends for us next season and we'll do better than expected in conference. I don't think we'll surprise anyone non-conference, though, as it will take some time for the new roster to find itself.

dont look now, but someone is claiming on Warrior Insider that Niko (not named, but a pretty easy inference) is leaving too.
When in doubt, burn it down.

I'd prefer to keep him if we could though. we need SOME upper classmen on this team.
When in doubt, burn it down.

i have a feeling ganot let both guys know that they were gone.with the scholarship reduction, don't need any dead weight.

unless he was rewarded one, niko was never offered a scholarship when we recruited him.

does Niko leaving mean that Jovanovich is leaving too?

I think they are friends and went to the same high school. I have nothing more than that and I'm just guessing since we got nothing else to talk about.

he was initially a walk on but they had scholarships available this year so they gave him one.
