2013 UH Opponent's schedules - Week 14 - Army. WIN!!!!!

Post by chawan_cut »

Here's our opponents this year and their schedules. I like to see how they've done over the course of the season and when they have byes and who they play before us. I update this normally the Sunday after our games. Please let me know if you find an error, as I'm not perfect like Wyokie.

Thanks!

Found a mistake. Army's schedule has @ Air Force twice in a row!!!!

It's great to see the greatest logo of ALL time on there....the famous bucking bronco logo for the WYOMING COWBOYS!!!!

You still have @ Air Force listed twice for Army. It should be

@ Temple
BYE
@ Air Force [-X [-X [-X

Ok, got this week updated. Tough game for our new offense. AWESOME job by our D tho. Hopefully things start a clicking for Graham and the line and receivers. If so, it could be a surprising year!
USC is gonna have a tough season if they play like that the rest of the year. As a USC fan near us said, Kiffin might be home for Thanksgiving.
Talk about surprising, the Beavers lose to the Eastern Washington Eagles. It was a shootout. Hope that doesn't happen this week, unless our offense does a complete 180.
Nevada gets romped by the other LA team. The Bruins might return to glory this year.
Fresno is in another shootout with Rutgers but pulls it out in OT.
San Jose gets an easy one against Sac St.
UNLV gets whacked by the golden gophers
CSU loses their rival game to the Buffaloes
so does USU to big brother Utah.
Navy has a bye
SDSU has a surprising loss to Eastern Illinois. Is there a new Romo there?
Wyokie's Wyoming puts up a good fight against the cornhuskers
and Army starts their season off with a W vs Morgan St.
Go Warriors! Go Na Wahine!

a little improvement and a sense of hope for the Offense in the first half, but two stalled drives could not match OSU's 2 TDs to take the lead in the 2nd.
Great job by the defense keeping it close for awhile.
Much needed bye week to work on things and get ready for Nevada.
here's how our opponents did.
USC is in trouble, only mustering 7 points against Wazzu at home in their loss. Kiffin is definitely feeling the heat. They get Boston College this week and the Trojan fans hope for a better offensive showing.
Nevada gets an easy win against div 1aa Cal Davis. However they head out to Florida State and hope to come back in one piece.
Fresno also picks up an easy W against another div 1aa Cal Poly SLO but head out to a tougher foe this week in the CU Buffaloes
San Jose loses to its big brother neighbor, Stanford and has a week to recover to get a paycheck at Minnesota
UNLV gets roughed up at home vs the Wildcats and hopefully have an easier week against Central Michigan
Colorado St loses a tough one to the Golden Hurricane, but now get Fresno's recent victim Cal Poly SLO.
Utah St gets its first MWC win by beating up on Air Force. They have another in state rival this week in Weber St.
Navy starts its season off right with a win against the Hoosiers of Indiana and now host Delaware this week.
San Diego St gets blown out at Ohio St but have a bye this week before hosting the Beavers. Who to cheer for....?
Wyoming wipes out former WAC opponent Idaho. Dang that altitude will be rough for us later this year. They should get another W against N. Colorado this week.
And Army loses big to Ball St. They get to host Stanford this week.

Rest up guys. Practice with that jugs machine. Catch those balls!

Week 3. Bye for us. We needed it to go get our offense on track. here's how our foes did.

USC somehow finds a starting QB and beats up on the eagles of BC.
OSU has a shoot out with Utah. I guess our D did well.
Nevada gets wiped out by Florida St. their starting QB, Fajardo was out, and is still questionable for this weeks game against us. wait and see.
Fresno's game vs Colorado gets postponed due to the massive flooding in the Boulder area. Prayers out to everyone affected.
San Jose has a bye before heading to face the Golden Gophers.
UNLV gets its first win against the Chippewas. They should have a few more easy games before the bye before us.
Cal Poly SLO seems to be the MWC's dog toy as they give Colorado St it's first win.
Utah St whips up on instate little brother pretty badly. They head to Southern Cal this week. We'll see how they face off.
Navy also gets a big offensive output against northern neighbor Delaware. Not the same without Flacco.

Anyways, hope our offense found itself this week. Hope we put up a good showing there in Reno. Go Rainbow Warriors!!!

dang. can't catch a break. offense was flowing, and then a 4th and 2. and then another. two fails, nevada doesn't and we're down 14. then we lost Graham and a few other key players. Nevada's true freshman qb got his confidence, and we were done. our back up qb's didn't look so hot either, accounting for 6 turnovers and sack after sack.

Utah St gives USC a tough time in LA before going down. USC gets its true "test" that they were looking for in the beginning, Arizona St.
Oregon St extends its win streak over San Diego St. They win in SD. They host the Buffaloes next week.
Nevada hosts Air Force next week.
Fresno wins a good one on Friday vs Boise and for it, gets ranked at #25.
San Jose St gets wiped out at Minnesota and goes to Logan.
UNLV beats up on FCS W. Illinois and will host hapless NMSU before a bye before us.
Colorado st goes to Tuscaloosa and goes down to #1 Alabama. Former WAC foe, UTEP is up next.
Navy was on a bye, but get the Hilltoppers this week
San Diego gets NMSU at their place.
Wyoming looks impressive again, wiping out Air Force
And Army loses 3 in a row.

Fresno for us this week. We'll find out the status of our injured guys shortly. Hopefully Graham is good to go, or we really need one of the backups to step up their game big time this week. At least we found a ray of hope in Diocemy St. Juste, who gave us a quick spark on Sat.
Go Rainbow Warriors!!!

dang. just ran out of time. if we can only play a full game of football like the 2nd half. everything was clicking. i think it'll happen next week against san jose. glimpses of what things could be like. our toughest games of the season are done. they're never easy, but hopefully these games made us better.

here's how our foes did this weekend.

USC gets blown out bad even tho they score a bunch of points. i guess the school had enough tho as Kiffin is a goner. He'll be like me, watching from the couch the rest of the season.
Oregano St wins its 4th in a row beating up on Colorado. Maybe we should've gone to the Buffs this year after all.
Nevada has a shoot out in a win vs the Falcons. If we only had an offense last week it would've been a similar game I think.
San Jose gets beat up at home. Saw some of it on tv. Hope its a good sign for us.
UNLV continues to put up big points, but against not so good teams. What's bad is they have a bye this week to prepare for us in 2.
Colorado St also puts up huge numbers against lowly UTEP. They get a bye this week to recover.
Navy loses to the Hilltoppers. They go the Colorado Springs to face their military foe in Air Force.
San Diego St gets its first win of the season against a bad NMSU. They go to Reno this week.
wyokie's pokes lose to Texas St. Really wyokie???
And Army beats up on the Bulldogs of La Tech. What a difference a year makes for the boys from Ruston.

Texas State is in it's 2nd year as a FBS school. A normal school should beat the crap outta them.

CDC and company always has one brainfart game a year. You can set your watch by it.

man, I don't like having to highlight the scores red.
C'mon guys! you can do it! I thought San Jose's QB Fale was better than Carr. That should be a great game to end the regular season.
So what do we have now? A continual QB controversy? Will Graham heal? Will Schroeder pick an identity? Our D can only do so much for so long. We can't keep doing these shootouts. We're not offensively strong enough any more.
I haven't watched any UNLV games yet this year, but they are capable of putting up points. They won the games they were supposed to win and lost the games they were supposed to lose. They had a bye last week which also doesn't do us any favors, and we haven't fared so well at Sam Boyd stadium recently either.
I'm sure there'll be a bunch of green fans in the stadium this week, but nothing like it was in the peak years. Hope we can play a full game of good turnover free football this Sat and return home with our first W.

Here's how everyone else did:
USC is trying to figure out where it's season is headed with it's new coach during this bye week after letting the Sun Devils go wild on them last week. They should have an easier game with the Wildcats this week.
Oregon State also had a bye in preparation for a surprising Wazzu team.
Nevada lost in a barn burner at San Diego St.
Fresno killed former WAC foe Idaho. They might be this year's BCS buster looking at the rest of their schedule
Colorado St also had a bye resting up for the Spartans. Go get em Rams.
Utah St loses its QB Keeton with a season ending knee injury. Good luck to him in his recovery. Without him, they lose to in-state big brother BYU and now get big blue brother Boise coming into town.
Navy gets to play its rivalry game and beats up on the fly boys. They go to the Blue Devils this week.
Wyoming also had a bye this week to dwell on last week's lost before hosting hapless New Mexico this week.
And Army loses to the Eagles of BC.

Ok, no distractions in Vegas. Focus, play good D, consistent O and solid ST, and get a W this week.
Go Warriors! Go Na Wahine!
