It's Now a Federal Crime to Fly with a Samsung Galaxy Note 7
You could face significant fines if it's in your checked bag.

Anyone who's flown in the last several weeks has heard the flight crew order passengers with Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones — which
can catch fire because of an overheating battery — to power down completely. Last week, however, the Department of Transportation
went a giant step further, issuing an emergency order that bans passengers and flight crews from even bringing the Galaxy Note 7 on
a flight.
The order, which took effect at noon on Saturday, said the phones may not be carried on board or packed in checked bags on flights
to and from the United States or within the country. The phones also can't be shipped as air cargo.

On a flight to LAX 3 weeks ago a passenger was caught with a Note 7. I can't believe this dumb okole was going to take it on the plane. Thank goodness someone spotted it and turned her in to the gate attendants.

So what happened to them? Did they not take the flight or did they get rid of the note?Kama wrote:On a flight to LAX 3 weeks ago a passenger was caught with a Note 7. It was just 1 passenger a middle aged asian lady. The Hawaiian airlines staff looked to have confronted her and the TSA got involved and escorted her away. After the incident I was small talking with airport security and they said it was kinda serious because the lady didn't voluntarily turn the phone in, someone ratted her out.Irse wrote:So what happened to them?
