I saw this sports-related line Business Insider used and laughed. GM is not even close to the "dream team", using a current reference, maybe they're more like the New York Knicks. A bunch of aging supposed 'big names' that are just constantly falling apart and put together disappointing results year after year. Tesla might be something like the Milwaukee Bucks, you turn your head when you see the rookie Giannis play but in the long run, they're still rolling under .500 (they may have a future tho).Tesla isn't the automotive equivalent of Angola, but at times I get the sense that General Motors considers itself the Dream Team: the car company that symbolizes US manufacturing might.
