Re: Have you voted early?
And why Oklahoma voters in 2008 voted to allow bars, restuarants, etc.. to serve beers, wine, etc.. during voting hours. Before the new state constitutional amendment in 2008 was passed, all bars, clubs, etc. couldn't serve alcohol from 7-7 on election days.Mr.EDGE808 wrote:That's why we have umbrella drinks and mai tai sundays! Mahealani Richardson made BAD / Embarrasing mistake...
With camera's rolling from all stations, she was given a chance to ask a question to the new Mayor...
She said, "We are here with new Mayor Kirk Caldwell"
New Mayor, "It's Peter Carlisles... Carlisles, not Caldwell"
then the crowd started chanting, "Peter, Peter, Peter..."

Uh.......he lost 41 districts and won 5......wasn't even close. Not much of a shock, since he was really behind in the polls the whole time.......but, now he can concentrate on his Karoke and singing career...uhwarrior23 wrote:I thought for sure Mufi would win! Sorry if I was miss leading you. I am happy he lost. To me his downfall was he didn't care what we wanted he was going to do what he thought was best for him. He pushed the rail on us the way he thought it should be. Not the way we wanted it. Anyway he seemed pushy about allot of issues along with his supporters. I don't have to worry about him anymore. Unless he runs later on.

+1 ...I would have to agree with you on this....what really bothers me though is that we(ALL) have been paying an extra 1/2 percent on the rail tax that's generated an estimated of 55 million dollars, and what do we have to show for it? Ann Kobayashi questions just SOME of the expenses paid out so far....and it all looks like the public is being taken for a ride.HawaiianHogster wrote: Sorry if I was miss leading you.
