I saw Rogue One Saturday morning and left the theater thoroughly impressed. The movie was a lot better than I expected.
While the movie is just over two hours long, it didn't feel like that amount of time had passed when the movie was over.
If you're a Star Wars fan, you'll enjoy the movie.

Maybe Someday We'll See the Alternate Version of 'Rogue One'
Ben Mendelsohn knows how to sell some Blu-Rays.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is going down pretty well among die-hard fans and jaded critics alike, proving once and for all that bad early buzz
doesn't necessarily mean anything. At the core of that bad buzz were the reports of extensive reshoots—but according to Ben Mendelsohn, several
different versions of scenes were shot even during principal photography.
"We did have multiple, multiple ways of going at any given scenario, we had multiple readings of it," Mendelsohn told Collider. "So should they ever
decide to, there would be a wealth of ways of approaching these different things. And I know from having seen the crucial scenes throughout it, I
know there's vastly different readings of at least four of those scenes."

The Death Star's Trench Isn't Where You Thought It Was
And its true location was hidden in plain sight.
By David Grossman
January 25, 2017
The Death Star's fatal flaw is the focus of both A New Hope and Rogue One, a detail so insignificant that the overlords who built it ignored
any chance that it would come back to haunt them. But visual effects artist Todd Vaziri just found some crucial information about the channel
Luke so deftly flies through. It isn't the Death Star's obvious equator. It's a longitudinal line, going north-south.
The Death Star's equatorial line is one of its most defining features, along the divot out of which the planet-busting lasers fly. It draws your
eyes to it, and it looks like the perfect place to zip through with your X-Wing.
