Danno doesn't like Hawaii
Too slow paced for him and said our food sucks. They should kill off his character and replace him with a local.

Saw the interview earlier.......not wise words. Would not be shocked if his character gets tragically killed off.Irse wrote:Too slow paced for him and said our food sucks. They should kill off his character and replace him with a local.

I remember being on a flight coming back home to Hawaii once and over hearing a passenger saying, "...it's a lovely place but I wouldn't want to live there..."

Re: Danno doesn't like Hawaii
Lot of people say that. Whether it's our pace or the fact they are surrounded by water or the cost of living. Hawaii is an attractive place to live for some but not for all.SectionACrazy wrote:I remember being on a flight coming back home to Hawaii once and over hearing a passenger saying, "...it's a lovely place but I wouldn't want to live there..."

People who don't like it here in Hawaii, whether it be the pace of life, the food, or whatever it may be, don't have to live or work here . . . period. This is a free country and they are free to say what they want, and live and work wherever they want . . . so go away, especially Scott Caan!

Didn't that woman who was on Lost who dissed Hawaii and the "Aloha spirit" end up marrying a local guy and having a child together?

If I had to wear a full suit and tie outdoors in Hawaii weather for long shooting hours, I wouldn't be happy either.

Lots of people on fb putting words in his mouth. So what if he doesn't like living here, its his opinion. We're too sensitive in this state. Someone doesn't think hawaii is the greatest place on EARTH? OMG what's WRONG with them! Lol

Re: Danno doesn't like Hawaii
It's like that everywhere I've lived. If someone said that in Texas, they would tell them to leave but in not as nice language. I understand that Hawaii is not for everyone but when you say it on national TV and that is where you earn your living, then maybe some of the backlash is deserved. He can always quit and get onto another series.H20 wrote:Lots of people on fb putting words in his mouth. So what if he doesn't like living here, its his opinion. We're too sensitive in this state. Watching the interview again, I kinda felt he just kinda rolled and went along with some of what Chelsea was saying. I actually laughed at some of the things they said.

Re: Danno doesn't like Hawaii
I didn't like him before he said that. He is too stiff and doesn't fit in well. I can't wait for them to replace him.
