I'm suprised BYU doesn't take advantage of this situation. If I ran the church, I would send my future BYU athletes to locations that are warm and will promote athletic progress. I know that these guys have a lot of spare time on their hands, so I would give them free memberships to 24hr fitness. Also, their meals are funded by the church. So, why not give these guys protien shakes and put them on a high protien/low carb diet. With a strict diet and daily training at the gym, they could seriously get these kids in playing shape. Add to that, they could hire personal trainers to help these kids on their way.
