Former ALL-State Bball player joins..

Post by stranger808 »

Chance Kalaugher, a former two-time All-State basketball player, has joined the UH football team.

"Kalaugher, a 2016 Kaiser High graduate, is 6 feet 6 and 230 pounds. He is projected to compete at defensive end. He also is a consideration as a jump-ball receiver in goal-line situations."

Do you know if this former Bball player ever played football? It shouldn't matter as Tony Akpan never played before suiting up for our Warriors, but I'm just curious as to how long we can expect him to be ready to play in a game.

Played DE for Kaiser:

Saw him play hoops in person a few times when he was in HS and liked his athleticism...

How about LB? He will see everything and be on every play, sort of like that 6'6" player from (Utah?) that shut down the Bows and was a part of every play.

I see him as a WR type for situational times like goaline or DE/DT in time since he needs to bulk up and gain D1 lineman skills.
Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do. :zook:

Has good size and athleticism, is raw, but has potential. Had a sack against Kahuku (last play on the video).

If he can be as dominant as Corbin Kafusi (also basketball player) of BYU, he and Hawaii have good futures.
