Post SDSU Game Thoughts?

Our coaches got away from using the Shotgun RPO as our bread and butter offense. It's the main reason our O got in rhythm, IMO. The play selection of dive, dive, pass, punt was hardly used. Our O was in a lot less 2nd and 8, 3rd and 7 situations. The coaches also included the RB in the passing game, it was well overdue. I also saw a few roll outs of our QB, nicely done coaches—at least they tried to mix it up a bit and stopped being so predictable.

I agree. And most of the change of pace and creativity were in the first half. Not much in the 2nd half. I don't know why.

If not for that fumble on SDSU's 15 yard line, this game probably wouldn't have gone into overtime. SDSU was playing catch up for the entire second half, a score then would have put this game away. Eh, but was more exciting this way.
