My observations this first half. It appears the bye week did nothing to help this team. This season looks like it’s done. I don’t even see any fire in any of the players. They look like they want this season to be over with.

McDonald needs to work on his pocket presence, needs to sense pressure better and avoid those sacks, also when he gets flushed he needs to make a decision run or throw it away and stop taking sacks

our opening slate was stuffed with terrible teams and they all played extremely vanilla defense.

both of those things have changed.

They need to move Solomon to where Padello is and find another ILB. Seems like Solomon can’t see the play developing and ends up not filling the gap. He ends up chasing but too slow to catch up. Padello is getting swallowed up by their tackles. They run to his side for huge gains.
