I was at the game and I could see the 40-50 yard lobs into the end zone during warmups and you knew that it was going to beat the UH secondary since the ball was just lofted up in the air. The defensive backs played the receivers close up and so it was easy for them to pass the defensive backs. All the quarterback had to do was to lob the ball up like in practice. Wonder why this was not caught on game film. Also, it looked like Cole was trying to fire the ball to the wide receivers rather than doing a touch pass although that may have been due to their tough secondary. Once he put some air under the ball the receivers had an easier time handling it.
