Marcus Armstrong-Brown
Marcus Armstrong-Brown
Any word of Marcus Armstrong-Browns availability for this game after suffering that hand injury against Navy?

According to Tsai's article, he's listed as the starter.

Thanks guy's this is good news. I think we will need his speed against Rice.

With Marcus Armstrong-Brown, I think its more about his size especially his length. If he can get between the defender and the ball, it should be a sure catch. They have a 5'9 cb that would make a nice matchup for some alley-oop passes to Marcus. His hands, though, have always been suspect during his career.

Hopefully the WR coaching change will prove to correct this going forward. All in the teaching and technique, along with mental fortitude.shrek2 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 08, 2018 7:51 am With Marcus Armstrong-Brown, I think its more about his size especially his length. Re: Marcus Armstrong-Brown
Looks like he did use his body last night on one of his catches. I was listening to the Rice broadcasters and that's what they said. They also said the other three receivers are the speed and Armstrong-Brown is the possession receiver. So if he can continue to use his length he might be reliable on 3rd down situations.My3Cats wrote: ↑Sat Sep 08, 2018 3:21 pmHopefully the WR coaching change will prove to correct this going forward. Marcus made a great possession catch in the waning minutes of the Army game. Keep going Marcus.
Re: Marcus Armstrong-Brown
I wonder if his finger injury from the Navy game is still bothering him as to why he dropped that first pass thrown to him? Otherwise, Cole put the ball right on the money and into Marcus' hands.

Re: Marcus Armstrong-Brown
That was a key drop because it was third down and they lost momentum on that drive.

Re: Marcus Armstrong-Brown
He was a good possession receiver in the SJSU game. I'd like to see them give it to him beyond the 10 yard line high so that he can keep the db between he and the ball.

Re: Marcus Armstrong-Brown
I don't know if he had a lot of YAC but in the last drive he made two key receptions which helped move the chains. Congrats Marcus for getting better every game and becoming one of the best possession receiver that Hawaii has had.uhwarriors wrote: ↑Sun Oct 07, 2018 5:42 pm Big time big man YAC to get the second first down of the game winning drive.
