I hope Navy can't pass the ball, or we in trouble. Batoon hopefully plays a 4-4.

Sounds like Batoon has experience defending the option as he mentioned he coached against Paul Johnson's Georgia Tech. Let's hope for the best! Tavai will be a major factor with his range and football IQ. He will be back for this game right?

What happened to Tavai?
“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”

This is a discussion forum, so we can rush to judge.

Something happened there. If he didn't "violate team rules" he wouldn't be on the plane.

Consider how he behaved for the last 3 (or 4) years, he knows better. He is not making good judgements over the last few months. Wrong time to be in the funk.

Short of pulling another bone-head action, Tavai should play and start.

It was a monster road win against a good team. I would bet the house on a Hawaii Bowl invitation. Yes, we have issues to address but I like a lot of what I saw in every aspect of the game. Fingers crossed for this season.

Can Teams (any team) play in two bowls? If their schedule can fit? Does anyone know the rules if teams are limited to just one?

Hawaii bowl is not worth watching without UH. But at the same time, I wish UH would have an awesome season where they get invited to another mainland bowl.

So it's like do I want a 7-6 season, or 12-1 season? I'm assuming 12-1 would get an invite to a mainland bowl.

Making sure that Dylan Collie gets the ball thrown at him numerous times... Oops! dropped pass! \:D/
( Just having a little fun at his expense.. He gave us fans fits during his career at Hawaii with his "dropsies" )

GO WARRIORS!!
I don't want to put Dylan down (too much) since he was a Warrior, but if the BYU quarterback just throws the ball into his hands then garans it's a drop!

Big win against navy. Defense still suspect. 2-0. 5 more wins needed for the Hawaii bowl. Here is the next 6 games.

vs Rice......winnable if the offense holds up
@Army......another option team. On the road. This might be another shootout like the navy game. Defense needs to improve.
vs Duquesne....winnable but remember Portland state & Florida Atlantic
@ SJSU.....they lost to an FCS team. winnable if the offense holds up
vs Wyoming........battle for the paniolo trophy. Defense needs to improve.
@ BYU......we never won over there yet however there is a chance. BYU not the same as years past. AGAIN DEFENSE NEEDS TO IMPROVE!!!!

Considering I thought we'd be 0-2 and are instead 2-0, a Hawaii Bowl berth seems very possible if not likely.

Only one bowl per eligible team, ever. 12-1 would get us into the..............

Hawaii Bowl. Unless and only unless and maybe not even(I don't know all the legality terms with Bowl contracts)that 1 loss was not in the MWC championship game. Wining that game would probably send us to the Las Vegas Bowl(would be awesome!)but as far as a "big"Bowl, would need to go 13-0 and get selected as the group of 5 member.

If we go bowling, It's either a New Years Day bowl or Hawai'i Bowl. We won't be going to any other bowl game
