Re: LB commits
nice pick up if santa delivers. army and air force interest indicate no problems with gpa with this student athlete. however: "Bowers, who will be a senior this fall, may sign a letter of intent in December." "may sign" is what happens to many hawaii recruits that suit up somewhere else.

Re: LB commits
If he's that good, the Pac-12 and Oregon State should/will be on him.
Re: LB commits
So long as the UH staff keeps up the love and communications with this young man, then all should be well in the end come signing day.

I think UH should target all the rejects from Pac-12. Pac-12 Teams already done the homework and rejected them one reason or another. Easy pick, and no need to woo them. Save recruiting expenses too.
These guys would have something to prove (that they were not selected).
No top Pac 12 recruit would choose Hawaii over just about any Pac-12 school, unless it was something like local ties. Then again, if they are a Pac 12 recruit, chances are they are living on the mainland with their immediate and important family members.

I'm pretty sure there are PAC12 recruits on the team. When I say PAC12 recruit, I mean a kid that received an offer from a PAC12 school and still chose UH.cabanalane wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 10:33 amstranger808 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 19, 2018 8:36 am If he's that good, the Pac-12 and Oregon State should/will be on him.

Re: LB commits
Well good so far, I guess. Only two commits though but both three stars. Hope we got a bunch coming by the end of summer. I keep forgetting about the early signing period in December so these verbal commits are growing to be more important even this time of the year
