I'd like to just see Rolovich roll with Moussa for now, love his poise in the pocket, arm strength and accuracy I mean the kid just drops dimes. I would like to see him gain some weight but other than that I think he's got potential and all the tools to be really good in Rolo's offense.

Anyone remember this? Some D1 QB transfer who never played a down.
http://archives.starbulletin.com/2005/0 ... tory2.htmlNo, the quarterback will come from among Kainoa Akina, Inoke Funaki, Tyler Graunke, Jeff Rhode and Jack Rolovich -- maybe. The five all had their moments this spring, but no one stepped up and grabbed the prize. So, as Jones said would happen from the beginning, the competition will continue in August, with a transfer and a walk-on or two thrown in to the mix.
"I don't think anyone's ready to play now," Jones said. "I don't know who it would be. I think two weeks before the game someone will separate himself."

Can never have enough quality QBsBigWave96744 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2018 10:49 pm Signing a D1 Transfer with 1 year remaining could serve as an insurance policy.
If they win the starting job, the 2 True Frosh still could redshirt, learn the system and be poised for 4 years
If a True Frosh wins the job, the D1 transfer is still a solid backup along with the other True Frosh.

Head coach Nick Saban said Alabama will “probably have a quarterback join us in some kind of way”.

Should he indeed transfer to UA, Minshew would give Alabama four scholarship quarterbacks -- something Saban has repeatedly said he desires. The Tide returns soon-to-be junior Jalen Hurts, sophomore Tua Tagovailoa and redshirt freshman Mac Jones.

I think Bama is going after another QB in case Jalen Hurts transfers.BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2018 11:04 pmCan never have enough quality QBsBigWave96744 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2018 10:49 pm Signing a D1 Transfer with 1 year remaining could serve as an insurance policy.
