Ex-Auburn 4* QB Sean White looking for 1 more year

Post by BigWave96744 »

Yes he was dismissed from Auburn for public intoxication, so what? Didn't harm anyone or himself.

He was once offered a Scholie to Hawaii in 2013 so why not drop the line again.

He could come in the spring, bring life to the program. Dru could redshirt and in 2019 challenge Moussa or Cordeiro for the starting job, if either doesn't beat out White.

Are we that desperate? Heck yah we are!!!

Auburn dismissed backup quarterback Sean White a day after he was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

White, 21, was booked into the the Lee County Detention Center in Alabama at 3:28 a.m. Sunday on a $500 bond and released on his own recognizance.

Few Auburn players were as respected by their teammates as Sean White.

Following his dismissal following his arrest for public intoxication on Sunday, White's now former teammates still hold him in high regard and hope White can land on his feet.

"It hurts," redshirt-junior linebacker Deshaun Davis said. "He came in with me. He was a guy that we looked up to as a leader. He was a brother first and foremost.

"To see him leave how he left is kind of disappointing. It kind of hurt for us from a family standpoint and from a team standpoint. But I'm sure he's going to get his head back on his shoulders. He's going to get on the right track."

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said he felt bad for White, who started 16 games for the Tigers between 2015 and 2016, throwing for 1,679 yards with nine touchdowns and three interceptions in 10 games last season.

"Sean's a tough guy. He's a warrior," Malzahn said. "But he made some bad decisions and I hurt for him. ... For me personally, anytime you've got to dismiss a player it's not a very good feeling."

Chow has gotten me to hate transfer QBs but we're pretty desperate.

QB Baker Mayfield began his college football career as a walk-on player for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He transferred to Oklahoma and led them to the Orange and Sugar Bowl and currently 10-1

Unlike the 3 D1 transfer's that Norm brought in, White started 18 games in the SEC.

What if Tua or McKenzie wanted to transfer, we would take them in a blink of an eye.

Rolo needs a spark and selling point for the team and fans in 2018

One point to mention here is that Fresno had Cal coach Jeff Tedford who played QB and coached Aaron Rodgers and is a proved commodity.

Rolo’s a pretty good quarterback coach. That’s why grumpy picked him up to coach qbs at Nevada. He just needs to take a tough look at his assistants and objectively grade their performance. This is where I think that he needs to change. Tough being the guy that says you have to go but it comes with the position. If he feels that it is not his coaches then he needs to take a look at his recruiting program. If it ain’t the coaches then it has to be the players.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

at this point, with dwindling attendance, it might be an option to go after the one-and-dones projected to impact next season's win column.

white really needs a platform to prove to nfl recruiters that he's learned from his mistake just to keep from falling below possible fifth round picks. hawaii needs impact players next year to bring fans back to the stadium to see the game live rather than on ppv.

public intox, bad as it is to those who never get into trouble, is still way better than burg or domestic violence that plague other players. that auburn players still respect white says a lot.

take a chance. white's better than a fourth and twenty fake punt.
