From what I'm hearing the next best QB on the roster is Tuileta, who cannot play this season and last played in December 2013.
We also gave a scholarship to a 5th string QB who never played a down and last played in 2009.
Now some say Moussa may challenge to play in 2018 as a true frosh.
Can someone explain why we didn't recruit a solid JC QB or D1 Transfer who could play immediately?
Are we putting all our eggs into Dru for 2017 & 18?
That was Norm's downfall...

June Jones was not afraid to bench a QB just because. He played Jason Whieldon when Timmy Chang was ineffective. Only time we beat Alabama.

Do you know for sure that we didn't recruit a JC QB? Just because we didn't sign one, doesn't mean we didn't recruit any. I'm tired of grad transfers. We saw enough of it with Chow. Looks where we ended up with those.BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2017 9:01 am From what I'm hearing the next best QB on the roster is Tuileta, who cannot play this season and last played in December 2013.

Why is it that Tuileta can't play?

We also got the QB from St. Louis coming over next year as well. Good competition

Yup and all 12 eggs cracked!!! LOL
Re: Did we put all our Eggs into Dru
Dru was never the long term answer. Just the best of what we have. He and the coaching staff have to game plan around his limitations. We already know that he is not accurate on the deep ball.

I think Dru peaked in the Hawaii Bowl
It's been all downhill since

2 things about this offense and Dru, it's not all his fault, they really can't get into their offense becz the defense keeps giving up scores. Like i said from the get go, this is the wrong offense for this team. If the defense made stops This offense would be so much better. but instead they always gotta play catch up.So if the defense is gonna be this bad they might need to install a whole new offense a more of a quick striking offense, but that will never happen. He's not the best qb but he's not the real problem, Basically this offense is not the same when their backs are up against the wall.
