Some info on the Hawai'i @ Wyoming game

Post by wyokie »

It will be on ESPN2 and the kickoff will be at 8:15 p.m. Mountain time which would be 4:15 Hawaii time? If I'm wrong on the time zone thing, PLEASE correct me!

Rolo should take the team up to Haleakala to run sprints.

This will be a tough, but exciting game. Tough because of the opponent and the altitude. I can't wait for this one. I need to make sure I order da sushi platter, and pupu stuffs. lol

Oxygen . . . need oxygen . . .

Better yet, players need to be rotated at all positions during the game. And hydrate.

Air Force doesn't/didn't have a quarterback named Josh Allen.

I think after Western Carolina and more so UCLA, the db's have been exposed. We need some length and physical play in the backfield. One call against Trayvon Henderson for pass interference was not there and he made a beautiful play against UCLA. He is the one bright spot for the defensive backfield. Maybe they need to talk more in the backfield.

we had some bad play by players and bad calls by coaches. the pick-6 and punt fake were awful. fake punt and the 1st down is 22 yards away against a Power-5 team, not so smart play.

i think people are overthinking the fake punt. it was a gamble in a game that we were probably gonna lose... and he almost made it! Sitting there in the Rose Bowl in the hot sun and realizing how little chance we had to win the game and seeing how ineffective we were on defense, I thought it was worth a shot. I guess on TV where you can change the channel, it probably seemed more foolish. It definitely didn't lose the game for us, ya know? we punted them down to the 1-yd line and it didn't make a difference at all.

I know that Allen has an ankle problem but not anything that a shot of cortisone wont fix. I think his escapability in the pocket or on the rollout will be something the LB may not be able to contend with. Good luck Wyokie, this is your game.

According to my Cardiologist, it takes 72 hours for blood platelets to settle down because of high altitude. Being there yesterday would help getting used too.
