Rolo Committed
Wow, when you read the article below and realize that his job at head coach is tough enough, you gotta feel like Rolovich is running a business where he runs operations, oversees marketing and is committed to creating both Goodwill for the State via University of Hawaii football. The man hopefully gets a raise. As much as Dave Shoji did for Hawaii with Women's volleyball, I think that Rolovich goes one step further by putting himself out there for Hawaii. Thanks Rolo.

Re: Rolo Committed
I posted in the game-day thread that given where this program was just a couple of years ago, along with all the other challenges of being the HC of UH Football, Rolo has done a BANG-UP job.

Operation "I'm Committed." I don't really want to take away from the real theme of this subject which is Rolo's hard work in every facet of University of Hawaii Football which indirectly brings positive attention to the State and its main cash crop which is tourism. Go Rolo! Go UH!

Re: Rolo Committed
my mind instantly jumped to committed to a psychiatric hospital or something, but I don't think that's so commonplace anymore so I changed my word to just hospital. maybe too much batman and arkham on the tv.BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2017 11:16 am When I see "Admitted", I think Hospital or Confession of Guilt

yea, rolo is the hardest working coach i've seen on the public side of things in a while. really good to see.shrek2 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2017 11:41 am Okay guys, funny, good laugh. Anyway, check this out.

Re: Rolo Committed
I love what Rolo is trying to do for his football team and university. I just hope he doesn't burn himself out.
Re: Rolo Committed
now that i know where shrek2 came by the thread title it makes sense.
i read somewhere, long ago when i worked, that if you are not doing what you say you believe in every day, all day, then you really don't believe and you are not committed.
everyday, all day rolo is doing everything he can to boost team play, public ticket sales and student attendance at games. way to go rolo.

Re: Rolo Committed
He's done many good things for the FB team , community and the school. The only issue I see is having an offense run by 2 diff coaches , one for passing and another for running. Did they get the running schemes from Chow's playbook that he left at the office?
Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do.

Re: Rolo Committed
We lost Rolo's first choice for offensive coordinator to Boise State. More money and low cost of living in Boise, less money and high cost of living in Hawaii. One is a cultural desert but you still can adjust to and the other is paradise. As a young coach not from Hawaii which would you choose? Lucky we still have Naole and the others on staff.
