UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII RAINBOW WARRIORS KICK OFF 2017 SEASON OPENER AGAINST WESTERN CAROLINA CATAMOUNTS
Saturday, September 2, 2017 ● 6:00 p.m.

Aiea, HAWAII (August 28, 2017) – Let’s welcome Coach Rolovich and the team back to the Hawaiian Tel Federal Credit Union Field at Aloha Stadium for the 2017 season as they take on the Western Carolina Catamounts, Saturday, September 2nd. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. It’s going to be a great game and fans can avoid those last minute lines at the Box Office by purchasing tickets online (www.HawaiiAthletics.com) or by phone (808-944-2697) before arriving at the game. Public parking for Upper and Lower Halawa Parking Lots will have access through Parking Gates 3 (Halawa) & 4 (Lower Salt Lake), opening at 1 p.m. All other lots (UH Reserved, Parking Gate 1/Main Salt Lake, Parking Gate 2/North Kamehameha), will open at 2 p.m. There will be a modified Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in Parking Lot Sections 8-14. Swap Meet entrance will be at Parking Gate 2 (North Kamehameha) only, closing at 12:00pm. Parking Gate 2 will reopen to the public at 2:00pm for the game. Parking rates are $7.00 per car, $30 per bus/limousine. Cash only please.

Turnstile Gates 1 – 8 will open to the public starting at 4:30 p.m.

INCOMING TRAFFIC & PARKING
Entrance through Parking Gate 1 (Main Salt Lake) – ADA, Bus Lot and Sections 1-7 only (PASSES ONLY); Use Kamehameha Highway or Salt Lake Blvd.
Entrance through Parking Gate 2 (North Kamehameha) – Parking Sections 8-14 only (PASSES ONLY); Use Kamehameha Highway.
PUBLIC PARKING Entrance through Parking Gate 3 (Halawa) – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only (PUBLIC PARKING); Use Kahuapaani St. only.PUBLIC PARKING Entrance through Parking Gate 4 (Lower Salt Lake) – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only (PUBLIC PARKING); Use Kahuapaani St. only.Entrance through Business Access Gate – Upper Halawa Reserved (PASSES ONLY); Use Salt Lake Blvd. or Kahuapaani St.

There will be no public parking available on the inner circle, except for the limited amount of ADA stalls. The ADA stalls will be open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking attendants will be asking for ADA placards and ADA issued identification cards. Guests who are unable to produce the placard and the ID card to match a person inside the vehicle will not be allowed to park in the ADA areas.



Alternate parking is available at Radford High School and Leeward Community College (LCC).
KAM Drive-In will not be available this season. Please note opening and closing times:

Leeward Community College (3:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is FREE. Cost is $2 per person (roundtrip) for shuttle service (3:30 p.m. – 1 hour after the game).

Radford High School (2:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is $5. NO shuttle service available.
Note: Security is present at all alternate parking sites. No tailgating allowed at all alternate parking sites.


Due to a high turnout expectancy for the first game, fans coming from the West side are encouraged to park at Leeward Community College. Traffic updates will be available on ESPN 1420 AM, Facebook at AlohaStadiumHawaii and on Twitter @AlohaStadiumHI.

Promotions: Bank of Hawaii is the game sponsor and will distribute 7,500 poncho ball keychains (available at all stadium gates) and award 50,000 Hawaiian Airline Miles during the halftime promotional contest (register at Gate 3). One lucky fan will compete in the "Bank of Hawaii Field Goal Kick" promotion during pre-game (register at Gate 3) and a UH student will compete in the "Bank of Hawaii Quarterback Challenge" for the chance to win a Vacations Hawaii Trip to Las Vegas during the first timeout of the fourth quarter. SHOUT IT OUT!

Got an upcoming Birthday, Anniversary, Marriage Proposal, or other special event you want to share at the game? The Bank of Hawaii “Shout Out” board is the perfect way to send your message of Aloha during the UH Football games. Email your family-friendly message to samantha.l.spain@hawaii.gov. One message per person per game may be submitted. Messages are selected on first-come first-serve basis, and must be submitted at least two days before each game. Messages will rotate during the University of Hawaii Football game half-time announcements. If your message is selected, a confirmation email will be sent to you one day prior to game day.



Please be advised Aloha Stadium does not allow guests to bring outside food and beverages into the stadium. This policy will be strictly enforced at the gates. No tailgating will be permitted after kickoff. Guests will be required to go into the stadium or leave the premises. Law Enforcement Officers along with Stadium Personnel will also be performing sobriety checks around the stadium. Fans are asked to drink responsibly and use a designated driver.
