UMass Travel Squad

Post by uhwarriors »

Based on my observations at practices and the published two deep, this is my guess on the 70 man travel roster.

QB (4)
Brown, McDonald, Brownholtz, Tuileta

RB (3)
St. Juste, Tuiasoa, Holly, Dale

WR (6)
Ewaliko, Barker, Armstrong-Brown, Bernard, Stubblefield, Abreu

SB (4)
Ursua, Collie, Timoteo, Tullis

TE/H (4)
Unga, Torres, Greeley, Chung

O-line (10)
Allen, Waa, Eli, Posa, Ulu-Perry, Norman, Sunia, Tuulima, Hensley, Kipper

DE (6)
Koloamatagi, Manoa, Padello, Choi, Eldridge, Hendrie

DT (7)
Moala, Akoteu, Moananu, Faalologo, Carter, Nuuanu-Kuhiki, Manuwai

LB (10)
Matautia, Tavai, R. Williams, Pritchard, Penei, Okeke, Mulanga, Falemalu, Broman, Look

DB (11)
Farris, Henderson, Lewis, Hudson-Rasmussen, Wilson, Hicks, Santiago, Hayes, Ford, Scruton, Gerard,

K (2)
Trivonovitch, Meskell

P (1)
Gaudion

LS (1)
Borden

Other possibilities that may have made the trip are: Noa (WR), M. Williams (LB), Tuinei (DB) and Augafa (DB).

Mageo (LB) and Scott (LB) would probably be on the travel roster but are out with injuries.

For future games, I wouldn’t be surprised if the following newcomers make the travel team as they get up to speed: Graves (OL), Vanterpool (OL), Keliikiki (RB).

Good list.
Know how long Mageo expected to be out? We have depth at LB but Mageo was a stud last season.

I've heard mid-season, but the bye week could help. With the depth at LB, there's no need to rush him back.

True. I'm looking forward to seeing Okeke get more PT. He was big time on special teams last year. Also wanna see Matautia

He isn't on the travel team for this game. He got a lot of reps during the scrimmages I saw, but I guess the coaches felt he wasn't ready to contribute yet. He just needs to keep working hard to get more up to speed with the college game. He just needs to be ready when his opportunity comes.

I noticed in one of Tsai's photos that FR DB Jay Dominique is on the travel team for the UMass game. He had a good spring, but didn't participate in one of the scrimmages I saw. So I didn't include him on my guess list.
