HAWAII Bowl kicks off christmas eve at aloha stadium
University of Hawaii vs. Middle Tennessee ● Saturday, December 24, 2016 ● 3:00 p.m.

Aiea, HAWAII (December 20, 2016) – Aloha Stadium is proud to welcome back the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors for their long awaited bowl appearance, along with a first time appearance by Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders to the 15th Annual Hawaii Bowl on Saturday, December 24, 2016. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Aloha Stadium. Fans can avoid long lines at the Box Office by purchasing tickets online (www.HawaiiAthletics.com) or by phone (808-944-2697) before arriving at the game.
Public parking for Upper and Lower Halawa Parking Lots will have access through Parking Gate 3 (Halawa) & Parking Gate 4 (Lower Salt Lake), opening at 10:00 a.m. Parking Gate 1 (Main Salt Lake) – ADA/Passes only and Parking Gate 2 (North Kamehameha) – public parking, will open at 11:00 a.m. Turnstile Gates 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 will open to the public starting at 1:30 p.m. Parking rates are $7.00 per car, $30 per bus/limousine. Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace will be closed on Saturday, December 24 and Sunday, December 25.

Entrance through Parking Gate 1 (Main Salt Lake) OPENS at 11:00 a.m. – ADA, Bus Lot and Sections 1-7 only (PASSES ONLY); Use Kamehameha Highway or Salt Lake Blvd.
Entrance through Parking Gate 2 (North Kamehameha) OPENS at 11:00 a.m. –Public & ADA Parking access entrance to areas 8-14 only Use Kamehameha Highway
Entrance through Parking Gate 3 (Halawa) OPENS at 10:00 a.m. – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only; Use Kahuapaani St. only
Entrance through Parking Gate 4 (Lower Salt Lake) OPENS at 10:00 a.m. – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only; Use Kahuapaani St. only

The ADA stalls will be open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking attendants will be asking for ADA placards and ADA issued identification cards. Guests who are unable to produce the placard and the ID card to match a person inside the vehicle will not be allowed to park in the ADA areas.

Alternate parking is at available Radford High School, and Kam Drive In

Note: Security is present at all alternate parking sites. No tailgating allowed at all alternate parking sites. Please note opening and closing times:

Kam Drive-In (12:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is $5 per vehicle with FREE shuttle service from 12:30 p.m. – 1 hour after the game).

Radford High School (11:30 a.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is $5. NO shuttle service available.


PRE-GAME SNOW ZONE! Take a break from all your tailgating and come on down for some holiday fun! Starting at 1:30 p.m. Keiki can join us at the Volcano area near the main box office for holiday glitter tattoos, and balloon making by Balloon Monsoon. Santa will also be making an appearance to take all those last minute wishes and photos. Then starting at 1:30 p.m. let it snow, let it snow, let it snow….Keiki can make snow angels or that perfect snowman in our very own snow zone. Keiki zone will be open until 3:00 p.m., so be sure to come early.



Once the turnstiles open at 1:30 p.m. be sure to stop by Gate 4 for additional activities and information from one of our corporate sponsors:

Or join us for free entertainment on the South Plaza, Turnstile Gate 2 featuring the musical talents of Island Daze.



Please be advised Aloha Stadium does not allow guests to bring outside food and beverages into the stadium. This policy will be strictly enforced at the turnstile gates. No tailgating will be permitted after kickoff. Guests will be required to go into the stadium or leave the premises. Law Enforcement Officers along with Stadium Personnel will also be performing sobriety checks around the stadium. Fans are asked to drink responsibly and use a designated driver.

so reading this, are they still reserving the circle lots around the stadium for "pass" holders that bought those stalls for the regular season games? Or is that free for all and open to the public?

here's the updated parking map that came with the press release: https://alohastadium.hawaii.gov/wp-cont ... public.pdf

the reserved area appears to be zoned differently than it has been for the regular season games.
