do we have any other run plays in our playbook? Seem all we do is read option, over and over and over, they know what we going run. and plus Brown almost never pulls it out and keeps it.
Why don't we run draw or delay plays, or some outside type of runs, misdirection or counters and shovel/screen pass. we need to mix it up and keep them guessing.

This rule was enacted for the 2011 season. Not sure if they amended it since then.travo66 wrote:I thought the NCAA changed their rules so that if a player taunts before making a touchdown, it is a 15-yard penalty from the spot of the taunting. Why wasn't NM's fumble return for a touchdown called back when he flipped into the endzone? Or did they not pass this rule change?

The coaches for Hawaii were outcoached. No variety on offense. Still trying to play the pistol. Too many three and outs. How many times did Dru Brown go under center? How many formations did New Mexico run out of? The only surprise was the fake field goal. Otherwise Hawaii can be defended every single game.

Is it known why this decision was made?? Seems awfully short sighted.RedZone wrote:They have a contract with a company that has chosen not to stream games.Bison55 wrote:So the University does nothing to show their football games to their fans?
Is that correct? If so, that is pathetic.

Contract was made before Cable company's parent company was bought out by another company. It was after this happened that they chose to stop online streaming.Bison55 wrote:Is it known why this decision was made?? Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

Totally agree with that. The middle linebacker has the most tackles in the MWC but we're running with Lakalaka on 4th and 1 right after he got stopped on 3rd and 1 at the 7. If they gave them a different look like having Ursua in the backfield or Harris along with Lakalaka, they might have opened up the middle. Right now their offense is boring. Nothing causes excitement except for Brown to Kemp or Ursua. I think the coaches thought they ran well under the read option against Cal but everyone in the Pac-12 knows they can run against Cal.ulua wrote:do we have any other run plays in our playbook? i'd like to see us run the jailbreak screen to Kemp, Rivers was good at that play, and I think Kemp would do a good job with it as well.shrek2 wrote:Totally agree with that.
