Mike Washington sighting (Rainbow Warriors in China)

was browsing on yahoo and saw a china football article. the name "Mike Washington" was mentioned quite a few times, so i had to look it up and he still ballin, and its in China! nice to see him doing well for himself there.

Yes, and their QB is Shane Austin. Both are still playing in the Arena Football League here in the U.S. even though it's looking like that league might be shut down soon. This is the first season of China Arena Football League and many of the Arena Footballers are on rosters

Good stuff for Mike and Shane to keep playing their dream. If Mike celebrated like that at UH he would have had unsportsmanlike penalties all game long!

just browsing, and saw the Director of Football Operations for the AFL GLOLBAL AND NOW CAFL, if I read this correctly, played for UH

Wow. Just looked up his game log and didn't know he was with us all four years and had to sit the bench during the dreadhead years. I know he only had a year of being a starter, but I thought he was a transfer. Just goes to show how much talent those teams had. Also seems like we had a lot more WR on the rosters back then

DBranch is definitely one of the key players to get the football movement in China. For those who don't remember, he was a star receiver in the Wags era.

They called his name alot back whenever he was playing.
