Maybe we'll have an elite offensive line this year. All of this years recruits look solid and it's anchored by some well-seasoned seniors.

I expect that the new coaching staff will have a breakout year. Maybe not in the win-loss column, but in building for the future and with team morale.

Parking cannot accommodate a breakout year. Lots are closed off that used to be open to everyone. And an entire lot is lost to rail. The stadium is not prepared to handle returning fans. They will come back and then not enjoy the experience. Then they will go back to staying home.

RB - Paul Harris and DSJ
QB - who will start?

We have some good guys coming back. I think Collie will be our 3rd down possession receiver. Kemp will prob lead WR in yards again. Dejon will become a decent LT (he's our best OL). Hollis will keep dancing and be good too. OL will be a strength. Daniel Lewis might be the guy to replace Nick Nelson. Sanchez will be solid as our kicker.
Zeno Choi named starter against Cal at DT. Exceeding expectations.

Woolsey will have his breakout year after hanging in there through SEVEN Offensive Coordinators. Why? Because SEVEN is a lucky number.

I kind of agree. I think/hope Woolsey proves the naysayers wrong.

but as far as a breakout player? I'm thinking Ursua on offense and Tavai on defense.

Kaaumoana Gifford would probably start (with Choi being a rotational player) if he it wasn't for his arrest. Still great job by Choi a true soph walk on.

Side note I wish I was in hawaii to attend the Murphy's hawaii football events.

I think our strength will be our OL. Trayvon and Lewis will be solid in a secondary we were worried about. Of course a pass rush makes everyone look good. KT back for 2017.

Defense will be key. We will get RBs with 3-4 yards per carry, maybe enough to sustain drives.

IW is serviceable. He can take where we need to go (5-7 wins). That would exceed expectations.

Cal (and I have some affinity for them) tends to choke.

As a friend of mine once said, what is the only PAC 12 team in the BCS era to never make a BCS bowl????

Good point about our Oline and running backs. Take care the ball, sustain drives and our D won't get gassed. In the red zone, with our RBs, Oline, Ursua/Collie and a QB that can run - we should be better.

Looking back ... many predicted accurately ... like Ursua and Tavai.
Who would've guessed Brown?
Was Stubblefield injured?
