Not long ago, at this time, we would be talking about winning the WAC. We would be talking about BCS. We would be talking about possibly making a bowl game. We would be talking about firing Chow.
So what do we talk about for the next 2 weeks? The last two games don't matter. Some players won't matter. Nothing matters at this point in UH Football. Without naming a head coach, we have nothing to talk about. What needs to be said about the candidates has already been said.
The internet wasn't "invented" yet when Fred Von Ap was gone. And memory has faded. As a Fan, not sure what to do now at this time of the season. Strange feeling.
Not sure what to talk about now?

Let's talk about how everyone should go to the last two games and support the Warriors, especially the Seniors! GO WARRIORS!!!cabanalane wrote:Not long ago, at this time, we would be talking about winning the WAC. We would be talking about BCS. We would be talking about possibly making a bowl game. Re: Not sure what to talk about now?
Uh should plan on loosing the next two games and let everyone play. The Bench and the Seniors. Not garbage minutes, but real playing time.
Recall during Wagner's year. There was a RB name Ren Freits. He was like 5'6" and 140lbs. Walk-on (classmate of Hekoti Fakava at Moanalua). When UH had the lead, they would set up the play at the goal line. And Ren Fretis would score behind all the big boys in the Power-I. Without looking it up, I believe he scored 3 or 4 career TDs. He was a guy that showed up to practice every day, knowing, he will never have a chance to play. The team did it for him. Something he can tell his kids and grandkids about. One one of the TD, he actaully got stopped. And UH players pretty much toss him over the pile at the line. TD!!!
Anyhow, I like to see players play for memories.
