JJ has a new hook.....Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa....he isn't spending his time "tutoring" Tua for his health....if he can bring Tua to UH, does that get him the job?
Remember former STL QB named Timmy Chang & how he & JJ will forever be connected? Don't you think JJ would start Tua as a Frosh and try to set new records?
To keep Tua at UH might be enough to get JJ his second go around.

Keep that talk down. Might be a recruiting violation in there somewhere. All I've seen of JJ at the games are as an observer.Ramashack wrote:JJ has a new hook.....Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa....he isn't spending his time "tutoring" Tua for his health....if he can bring Tua to UH, does that get him the job?

June Jones record at SMU:
2008` 1 – 11
2009 8 – 5 Hawaii Bowl
2010 7 - 7 Armed Forces Bowl
2011 8 -5 BBVA Compass Bowl
2012 7-6 Hawaii Bowl
2014 0-2
JJ left because he wanted more money….and when his 2014 team was getting creamed from the get-go, he abandon ship.
Hopefully Matlin has the balls to go young.
Bottom line, the Warriors need an outstanding recruiter who can, perennially, keep some of the best local boy’s home and augment that with a bunch of 3-Star studs from the mainland.
JJ does not fit that bill. LOL…even with talent rich Texas, and Oklahoma within easy reach, JJ wasn’t able to load up on 3-star athletes.

No they need someone to turn the ship around before the football program sinks and takes the rest of athletic department with it.seasider wrote:June Jones record at SMU:

Matlin needs to choose the right guy among the litter to do it. Whether you like him or not, JJ has the track record of righting the ship TWICE.
