Is UC Davis A Trap Game?
Re: Is UC Davis A Trap Game?
Agree with many here... the 1st string offense absolutely needs to GEL more, and perfect their game. Against a decent C.U. defense, and an extremely good (if not one of the best) O.S.U. defense ~ they really didn't have all that many snaps in a 'real game situation'. This game will be the last real opportunity to tweek the offense, and get really for the meaty-part of the season.
Re: Is UC Davis A Trap Game?
Problems with our offense and defense (especially the offense) have been demonstrated in previous games. Hopefully our coaches have noted and worked to change things on our side to avoid those deficiencies and UC Davis coaches have not noticed and trained their team to take advantage. I doub this will be a trap game.

Ohio State down 10-3 vs. NIU in the 2nd. Cardale has been benched. A bit of a wet blanket on UH's performance last week.

The big difference is NIU was able to capitalize off of OSUs turnovers (pick-short field TD and a short field for the FG) and haven't had turnovers themselves. OSU has held them on D though other than that.
