ALOHA STADIUM KICKS OFF 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF UH FOOTBALL: HAWAII VS. COLORADO


Aiea, HAWAII (August 15, 2015) – The University of Hawai‘i (UH) football season opener against Colorado is set for Thursday, September 3, 2015. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans can avoid long lines at the Box Office by purchasing tickets online (http://www.HawaiiAthletics.com) or by phone (808-944-2697) before arriving at the game. The Upper and Lower Halawa Parking Lots (Gates 3 and 4) will open at 2 p.m., while all other lots (UH Reserved), will open at 3 p.m.

TRAFFIC & PARKING FLOW CHART (TRAFFIC UPDATES available on ESPN 1420 AM starting at 2:30pm)
Entrance through Gate 1 (Main Salt Lake) – ADA, Koa/Bus Lot and Sections 1-7 only (PASSES ONLY)
Entrance through Gate 2 (North Kamehameha) – Parking areas 8-14 only (PASSES ONLY)
Entrance through Gate 3 (Halawa) – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only
Entrance through Gate 4 (Lower Salt Lake) – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only
Entrance through Business Access Gate – Upper Halawa Reserved (PASSES ONLY)

Alternate parking is also available to Radford High School, Kam Drive In, and Leeward Community College (LCC). Please note opening and closing times:
Kam Drive-In (4:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is $5 per vehicle with FREE shuttle service
4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. / 8:30 p.m. - 1 hour after the game).
Leeward Community College (4:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is FREE. Cost is $2 per person (roundtrip) for shuttle service (4:30 p.m. – 7:30:00 p.m. / 8:30 p.m. - 1 hour after the game).
Radford High School (3:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is $5. NO shuttle service available.
Note: Security is present at all alternate parking sites. Shuttle service begins ninety minutes prior to kickoff and up to one hour after the game ends.
No tailgating allowed at all alternate parking sites.

There will be no public parking available on the inner circle, except for the limited amount of ADA stalls. These ADA stalls will be open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking attendants will be asking for ADA placards and ADA issued identification cards. Guests who are unable to produce the placard and the ID card to match a person inside the vehicle will not be allowed to park in the ADA areas.

Be sure to come early and beat the traffic as we celebrate the Aloha Stadium’s 40th Anniversary. Join us for fun and entertainment no matter what side of the stadium you’re on.
40th Anniversary Pre-Party Entertainment - Centerplate’s annual Paina in the Plaza and newly added Volcano Village stage will, feature a special pre-game music mix by some of Hawaii’s talented artists. This game we’ll be featuring:
South Plaza - Kelsey Pascua and Friends from 5:30p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
North Plaza – Na Hoku award winner, Kamuela Kahoano – 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
CGEAR Shop –Find the latest Official UH styles and designs only at the Aloha Stadium CGear Shop located in the North Plaza.

Please be advised, strict enforcement on outside food and beverages will be enforced at the gates. No tailgating will be permitted after kickoff. Guests will be required to go into the stadium or leave the premises. Law Enforcement Officers along with Stadium Personnel will also be performing sobriety checks around the stadium. Fans are asked to drink responsibly and use a designated driver.

If you want to buy tickets at the window, give yourself an hour before kickoff
If you are picking up at Will Call, make it 1.5 hours
