From being one of the better basketball prospects to an under the radar football player with lots of upside.

A Jimmy Graham type of TE. Fits into Coach Bailey's scheme. Maybe he'll walk on to the BB program to add a strong, athletic 3/4 type.

Hopefully will turn out to be our #3 receiver. Looks like having Wittek is a plus on recruiting.

Does this mean we go back to Chow's playbook?

This guy is a specimen running the 40 in 4.6 seconds at 6'5" tall and weighing 230lbs plus he initially was with Oregon. In high school they lined him out wide also so yes, just like Graham - gives UH some matchup problems for opposing defenses. With him and Tui Unga also 6'5", 250lbs they should be efficient in the redzone with 6'4" Marcus Kemp, 6'2" Vasquez Haynes back and 6'4" Ammon Barker. With another year with Chris Naeole coaching the OL, the Offense could be very good.

I have written off half of our road games.

For our home games. I want to go into the stadium and see a well-disciplined and efficient offense that moves the ball and consistently scores five or six touchdowns every game. This is entirely doable when you look at our home schedule. If we win most of our home games and we add a couple of road wins we could end up having a very good season.

we are bigger, faster and stronger. We also are more experienced. Last year we just needed a QB that could get the ball to the receivers and complete the long pass.

I am upbeat for the season. We will have a rough start. But I am hopeful.

Adding a legit threat, especially a TE that can test the middle of the field will be huge for the WRs because it will open the field for slants, posts and outs. It will also force defenses to spread their formations versus load the block against our former run left, right , short pass and punt offense.

+ I am hopeful that Bailey will have free reign on managing the offense. Otherwise, all bets are off.
Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do. :zook:
