He belongs to Mack.
2009 recruit and grayshirt,
2010 redshirt,
2011 played under Mack,
2012 to 2014 played under Chow.

Joey was always one of my favorites. He really would've been a great under June Jones. We'll never know what would've evolved with Mack in Joey's second year. For Chow, it was kinda obvious all three years. I'm glad he stuck it out. I hope he'll finally have the kind of coaching/mentoring and some kind of offensive scheme so he can finally shine.

If Joey is healthy, he can pound the ball as good as any

will he make the probowl? --- probably not

but who cares --- if he gets to play in the NFL with 10 or 20 touches in a season --- he made the promised land --- that is all that matters

that's true.

but comparing him to one of the last great workhorse full backs is ridiculous.
