Re: dude, if woolsey starts this year...
Norm hasn't shown us much of anything yet in his quarterback recruiting.

If Woolsey starts, there goes the year...since last year any other qb started we would have had at least 7 wins. Woolsey's avg yds per pass attempt usually mostly a dismal <5 yds per attempt. To be a winning QB you must have 6-7 yds per attempt.
Wittek's got to be the guy this year or Beau Reilly...
When does Aaron Zwahlen come in also? He may be a good one.

One day of spring practice and the negative fans if you want to call them fans are out already. Why don't you let spring and fall practice playout?
The team, coaches and players got more important things to deal with then arm chair QBs sitting on a coach.

I agree with this. We have new coaching staff and the cards have been reshuffled.TheDuke wrote:One day of spring practice and the negative fans if you want to call them fans are out already. Why don't you let spring and fall practice playout?

I am optimistic at this point. We could have a very good year. Why crap on these kids and this 2015 team when they are just walking on the field for the spring.

I'm saying that NC says that Whittek is "the gem of the class" who only has one year to play....if he gets beat out by woolsey (who we saw what he's about last year), how can i be "optimistic" about the season?...
Re: dude, if woolsey starts this year...
If Woolsey stars, we can only hope for a Sean Schroeder-type renaissance.
But Wittek seems decent and he at least had some playing time at USC and doesn't seem to be injury plagued. Plus hopefully Beau Reilly will be "ready" as NC kept saying he wasn't "ready" last year but yeah we also still got Zwahlen coming in the fall.

Fan? Realistic? You haven't seen them play one down in 2015. How can you be realistic. Who will be the 5 starters across the OL?

No big deal. But it seems like he was focused on two when he first spoke.

Are as good as any of 'em? Any of who? Graham, Schroeder and Higgins?UnBiasFan wrote:Chow at 1:59 ".... I think these t.. (pause) three are as good as any..."

I am the one who knocks.
Re: dude, if woolsey starts this year...
Any QB recruited to take the field for USC has the potential to be as good as any. So we get chance that we end up with a QB as good as any.808Hawaii wrote:Are as good as any of 'em? Any of who? I agree Wittek has the tools physical tools you want out of a QB. I'm concerned with the offense as a whole though. Can they gel together and if so, how long will it take.
