lol right? Remember when going 6-7 was unacceptable and beneath us? Good lord.
That's funny...true, ironic, but funny.

The Sheraton Aloha Bowl loss to Tulsa with the run and shoot was disappointing. The last year of Mac at 6-7 and the run and shoot was disappointing. The three years of Chow's run and punt is totally deflating.

And BTW, all of those run and shoot quarterback/receiver combinations were winners.

Chang-Owens gets my vote. I was at those games rooting in the student section. It was magical. One of my grad school classmates played OL for Michigan State and he remembers Chad Owens vividly (I always bring him up).

Part of me believes that we would have beaten Tulsa in 2010 if Pilares didn't get injured on his first play. I believe it was a punt return.

The other greats on this list are all Great. Brennan-Rivers is what I most remember from 2007 especially @SJSU game (come from behind mud bowl).

True dat, brown dog.
For poll, I took Chang-Owens. But, I really liked Brennan-GM and watching GM turn on the jets.

...and none for Moniz-Salas. Some people may dock Bryant for not being as good as Brennan, but IMO he was as good as Chang, if not the better talent.

Sure, penalize Moniz for losing the 2010 Hawaii Bowl. If that's the case, why not penalize Chang for his historically awful beat downs in 2004? (@Boise St. 3-69, @Fresno St. 14-70) Chang was a favorite of mine, but let's not make like his era was a flawless adventure. He had some stinkers. If he and Owens didn't save the day vs. Northwestern and Michigan State, his legacy might be a bit different than it is now.

Too bad that 2010 Hawaii Bowl vs. Tulsa went awry fast. That 2010 team was one of the best UH teams ever.
TC had crazy video game numbers that no one can question. He is/was the hero or villain to different ppl on the islands. Had some accuracy issues at times bc he had tons of pressure on him and was busy drinking in the nightclubs (I saw him many nights in the clubs in Waikiki)

CO made tremendous plays on offense and special teams...he might be 5'8 on a "tall" day.

+ The BYU win was epic...I love when UH beats BYU (my uncle Michael was a LB on the 84 BYU team and never shuts up bout being a NCAA champ)

Moniz was fun to watch. Salas has to be one of the toughest Warrior receivers - he'd make catches, run DBs over and get in their faces. Jason Rivers was a tough receiver/blocker too.

I liked the Brennan, Bess and RGM combo. I really liked how they blocked for each other.

Those combos were good! But my fav is none of those.

I actually like the guys who started it all....Dan Robinson to Dwight Carter, Quincy Lejay, Stutz, Attrice Brooks, Channon Harris, Justin Colbert and a young Lelie playing limited time but could see he was he future at that time.

My fav was Rolovich to Lelie, if Rolo would've started more games I think he would've been drafted and a much better Pro than Brennan.

Since I can't submit my vote for some reason, I'll vote for Chang/Owens. This was a tough choice though.
