You have to wonder why neither in-state school (i.e. New Mexico or New Mexico State) offered him.

My guess is that while he is accurate, he has a below average arm strength. Check out his video. Lots of completions of short passes but not one pass thrown longer more 35 yards.

Arm strength looks to be an issue along with lack of exposure in New Mexico. But if I were a recruiter I would go after him, especially if Hawaii still had the run n shoot. I like that Easton appears to be very good at manuvering in a crowded pocket and keeping his eyes downfield and still make the throw.

If we ran a different offense, a la RNS, he could be successful. In a pro-set, if you have a weak arm, the D is going to crowd the passing lanes.
