Mckenzie Milton said he was going to try to get others to commit to Hawaii and it looks like he just did.
The lockdown of Central Oahu continues. This afternoon, Mililani Cover2 All-State wide receiver Kalakaua Timoteo told KHON2 sports that he has committed to the University of Hawai’i.

I am thankful for local talent staying home...If it works for them education wise, playing for the home team provides a connection you won't find on the mainland. Also, you can create a legacy and inspire the next generation of players.
Does anyone know his 40 time? Akua knows UH needs speed @ WR.

UH was shopping for a new logo? When? In the last few years? Chow era? So what's the result? Was a decision made?

He was referring to the Star-Advertiser article which told a story of when JJ was HC and the school ran a contest to change the school logo, Timoteo submitted his own entry. They were trying to show his love for UH and how much he wanted to become a Warrior.
Of course the "H" logo was selected(which was not his entry) but the article was trying to point out his love for the school and that he always wanted to be a WARRIOR!

That logo came out in 2000. He was like two years old? Definitely not that.
I mean, it's not a big deal as it was just a lead in for the story but it just doesn't make sense. Only thing I could find was in 2007 when Chaminade was looking for a new logo and had a contest but that's it. I mean unless it was just a little kid drawing that his parents told him about it

Whoa! I didn't think about that as far as his age when I first read all of this. At two years old I don't think that I could even figure out which side of the crayon to scribble with! But my parents were so poor, I don't remember even having any crayons!!
if i remember correctly, the University changed the school logo, after the changing of the "H" athletics logo. Then they went ahead and hired a firm to create the logo, which pissed everyone off.
