Next year isn't going to get any easier....
9/5/2015 Colorado Aloha Stadium <- they're a mess but still beat us this year
9/12/2015 Ohio State Columbus, Ohio <- give us the money this year in advance please!
9/19/2015 UC Davis Aloha Stadium <- should be a W
9/26/2015 Wisconsin Madison, Wis. <- another $$$ game. hope we have don't get too beat up before the conference
11/28/2015 Louisiana-Monroe Aloha Stadium <- sad to say, will be our bowl game
This year's schedule is relatively "easy" with a down year for the normally top MWC schools (Fresno, SDSU) and we don't play Boise. SJSU, USU were supposed to be down with out their returning QB and injuries. Nevada and CSU are the cream of the crop.
We'll probably also swap out Wyoming and another MWC school for Boise, Air Force or New Mexico. I forgot how the rotation thing works. wyokie will correct me.
If it's not pretty this year, will it improve next year with the returning injured WRs, no Iosefa, no all everything Scott Harding?
Will Chow(if he's still here) stick it out with Woosley who will be a RS Junior? Or is he hoping Wittek is his solve everything answer? Or will Beau be ready as a RS Freshman with all these reps as the 4th string backup this year? Or does he recruit another project freshman to tease us each week if he'll play or sit?
Will fans return to buy season tickets to watch Colorado, UC Davis and LA-M? I've heard many people say they won't renew tickets next year.

It looks like the home games are winnable.
“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”

If Chow returns, he'll complain about how tough our schedule is. But no one will feel sorry for us so he'll work hard.

And there will be less than 10,000 season ticket renewals.

So, Louisiana Monroe is our "Army" game?
3 BCS power 5 teams upfront. Colorado is weak this year but will be much improved next. Wisconsin will throw our boys around like rag dolls and Aranda isn't going to let UH make a touchdown on his watch. Ohio State ...on the road? Do they play in Purgatory? ... Auwe...no, I mean Owwee! We are going to be so bust up before conference play and possibly be be down to our 4th string QB.

Only thing I can think of is: How much are we getting out of this deal?Palolo_2LA wrote:That Ohio State game will be a beating under any coach...likely worst if with NC.madeinhawaii wrote:So, Louisiana Monroe is our "Army" game?

UL Monroe almost beat a 4 star, 5 star loaded team. Fire their coach for not using the talent he recruited too.
Re: Next year isn't going to get any easier....
UH athletic department is going to make a whole bunch of kala next year with The Ohio State and Wisconsin bodybag games. Stay healthy Warriors!

That's what we need to do in order to ensure the program survives.My3Cats wrote:UH athletic department is going to make a whole bunch of kala next year with The Ohio State and Wisconsin bodybag games. Stay healthy Warriors!

Should UH just compete in Division II?
(I know there is no $$$ in DII).

Fewer scholarships, but still going have costs associated with FBS - travel, etc. Fan support will be even less. Dropping football would be a better economic option.cabanalane wrote:Should UH just compete in Division II?
