I agree. Woolsey played well enough for us to win. Came out in the second half running same ole plays. The difference was. nevada adjusted. They knew we were going to run Lakalaka so they took away all the gaps. No place to run. Then we tried to roll Woolsey to the left but Nevada knew what we were going to do and Ikaika ended up with Hekking in his face so he had to throw the ball away.

On our last scoring drive we did it on Ikaika's arm even tho there were dropped passes by our receivers. Even Lakalaka's touchdown run was in part what Ikaika had done on the drive up to that point. Because he was so effective throwing the ball the 2 inside linebackers were sitting on their heels instead of filling the holes as they were doing earlier. Our passing setup that run.

If anything Hadden needs to work on his onside kick. He needs to kick it so that our players will have a chance getting to the ball. He keeps kicking it too hard and it ends up going out of bounds.

So...McMackin beat USU 2/3 times. Chow has lost 2/2 times. Why would this meeting be any different? I see Utah State has a winning record with close losses to a Sunbelt team and a good MWC team. They seem to have done all right despite losing a cracker jack coaching staff that included our former defensive coordinator a few years ago. Hmmm...they seem to be doing okay without Clune this year as well.

I've watched USU get pounded by Hawaii and in-turn deliver solid beatings to Hawaii over the years. They're a fundamentally sound program...unlike Hawaii.

I don't necessarily disagree with this, but we've played more than one game this season and he's struggled in most of them. I don't think him playing well for a couple of drives last game means that anyone can enter this weekend's game with a lot of confidence in the QB. I think you are the one being a simpleton in treating everything as if it were black and white.
