Please retire. You've done enough damage to this university and to the state.

I would like to add:

To the Chow hiring committee, you need to get fired too! Damn administrators!

Chow was no one's first choice. Maybe JD had it right with Dirk Koetter.

He didn't have to be THE choice either.

I was hoping for Dirk, he was a lot younger and more innovative.

yeah, maybe the future OC for the Atlanta Falcons could coach pretty well.
When in doubt, burn it down.

With June stepping down and Charlie Weis being fired days ago, this may be Dave Reardon's headline tomorrow morning

Administrators don't hire football coaches. Insiders and powerful people do. And there's enough egg on the face to go around for all of them.

Remember the timing of when Chow was hired. It was to be his "Hawaii homecoming." A celebrated return of a Hawaii boy. On the national level, he was to be the first Asian American football coach. Oh, not to mention he was going to take significantly less than the mil we payed Mack per year.

Pulled this from some other post from 2011....these folks hired the coach.

1. Dr. Rockne Freitas, Vice President for Student Affairs and University/Community Relations at the University of Hawai‘i and former All-Pro Professional football player with the Detroit Lions.
2. Peter Ho, Bank of Hawaii Chairman, President & CEO
3. Bert Kobayashi, Jr. Partner, Kobayashi, Sugita & Goda
4. Duane Kurisu, entrepreneur, owner, PacificBasin Communications and Hawai‘i Sports Network, and the San Francisco Giants
5. Dr. Edison Miyawaki, Cincinnati Bengals football team minority owner, Hawai‘i Health I and II
6. Jean Rolles, Vice President of Community Affairs, Outrigger Enterprises, Inc.

Thtas what I don't like, too much business people involved looking for their own puppet to hire.

It's a tough situation. All the good Hawaii players want to play for other teams such as overrated oregon so it's hard for Hawaii to recruit. As a fan I can see the frustration but as someone who sees the players and coaching staff on a constant basis, it's not from a lack of effort.

The defense can't keep up carrying the team and Chow/Wynn offense isn't working. MWC conference play is going to be murder, with out Joey Iosefa Hawaii will be lucky to beat UNLV. I don't see how Chow/Wynn/Matthews will still be at Hawaii next season. Dino Babers and June Jones offenses look real good right now!
