Who do you think should start at QB?

Post by tom-WarriorNation »

For the first 4 games; our offense is just not clicking--we need a spark here BAD; and that can only come from our QB.

Let's play all the QB's for at least one series; and see how each performs under the "LIGHTS" of a real game--some QB's are simply gamers; and you won't know who they are until they have a shot!

Prater

I had Prater at the top of my list 3 months ago.
1. Prater 2. TG 3. Reilly or Higgins, until now, now that I have seen Higgins, 3. Reilly
Prater: mature, great arm, will to win

Graham has game experience and doesn't make the same mistake twice. Give him practice reps'

Taylor's time has come. This is it for him. I believe that he will make this opportunity count.

In this day and age, it is very easy to anoint any QB but Woolsey as the heir apparent. I believe Woolsey can get better. Perhaps a stint on the bench might help his emotional state. He just comes off as a kid who is confused. Trying to balance the coaching he is receiving, with his ingrown ability to simply be an athlete and make things happen.

Taylor Graham is NOT the answer. Sure, 6'5 and 230 is certainly intriguing. But we have seen him on several occasions. If you taught the Woolsey games been bad, watch when TG takes the reigns....again.

If anything, Woolsey should be given a chance to free wheel a bit. Yes, the injury factor goes up. But so does the success factor. Anybody can see that Woolsey's past successes were based upon his athletic ability. We all know that this does not mesh well with the old man. For if it did, David Graves would have been our QB when the coaching change took place. Chow and his ego made sure this didn't happen.

Under Chow, do we need a QB? Put anyone back there and hike the ball to the RB, FB, ABTQB (anyone but the QB)... and we'd probably do just as well.

nothing graham has done is as bad as 10/24 passing and 66 yards except for his debut against USC.

Woolsey's composite career makes him look like reggie Ball.

I get your point Xer. And it still had to come with a "except for his USC debut" piece to it.

Graham is a statue. He will get tagged back there. It's not like he will have all day to pick and choose targets. At least Woolsey gave you a chance escape and try to make something happen.

Not so much with Graham. You watch.

Woolsey's total lack of pocket awareness makes this point utterly moot.

How good is Rice's pass rush? If they can push our Oline back.. or consistently threaten our Qback.. then let's go with Woolsey and the new kid.

I voted for Woolsey because I believe coach is gonna continue to develop him. We don't have the O-line to protect Graham. The other guys are projects.

my point is that who ever is back there is going to take bad sacks, so i think Graham is more accurate.
