Holy crap, has Norm Chow lost his mind? Does he not know how bad the program is since he's taken over? And to start a fight on the FIRST DAY of SPRING ball against of all people, Dave Reardon? Really?

JMHO that Coach needs to try to have his actions measure up......to one of his favorite inspirational quotes from Martin Luther King Jr. (as Coach recited last season and at the Na Koa Awards Banquet).....to show that these are more than just inspirational words.....

I think it's total BS that the star advertiser would devote half of the front page for dave to say his mind. Seriously, front page?! A massive earthquake that killed people and could've affected us and they allow dave front page coverage?

They did that on purpose, just to sell a bunch more newspapers. Not very ethical!

I understand why NC is upset, he's just backing up his assistant coach. Not fair for Reardon to criticize the new assistant who had nothing to do with last years season.

On another note, Reardon is an idiot for stewing this whole thing back up today. The apology statement was issued yesterday. Reminds me of the people who pound on the glass at the lion exhibit and tease the animals. It would be so gratifying to see them get eaten!

As if Reardon wasn't irrelevant enough to the real sports fans, I dont know why he felt as if he had to use the newspaper as a launching pad for his personal attack back at Norm.

Tsai and Honda are the only respectable sports writers at the Advertiser.
The rest of the paper is scum sucking leaches. Thank goodness for the internet and acute fans in here, I only come here for Hawaii sports info anyway.

I think Chow could have not done what he did yesterday but as a jock myself this only shows his loyalty to the team and his staff, thats all that matters especially after coming off 2 losing seasons and you really have nothing else to hold on to. This will work out better for the team because they are the only ones that can turn the program around and seeing your coach fighting with anyone just motivates the players to catch his back.
