Fitou made a soft commitment, but it appears he is the target of a lot of other programs.

His uncle by the same name was a very good linebacker for St. Louis and UH.

I remember him playing for UH. For some reason, I thought he was from the mainland.

His uncle originally played DL at St. Louis and was selected the 1985 State DPOY. He came into UH as a DLman, and later transition over as a LB. He was a beast and so was his younger brother Lucky Williams who also was a 1st teamed and played Safety/Corner at Kaiser from '87-'89.

The uncle did play for St. Louis, Around the same time as Tommy Heffernan, he was the DPOY but it wasn't '85- think you're off a couple of years- maybe '87/'88. Still though, he was a beast and I like the fact that the present Williams has made the commitment to play in front of his family and friends, and is also, from what I understand a 3.5 GPA student who is actively involved in his school and community. Go Warriors!

:hmm: Your right, I was off by a single year, but then again your wrong by a couple of years like you stated with uncertaincy '87/'88. '86 the exact year Manly was selected the SDPOY, lol

OPOY Kahuku RB Richard Stevens son who attended Campbell hs is also on the team as a LB.

I'll take good ones from anywhere, but glad we're getting guys from Kahuku, Waianae, and the Govs. Always tough and rugged.
