Ultimately he was an invited walk-on at Rutgers.

Keith Kirkwood committing to the Warriors is a big get. Rutgers and the other East Coast schools are going to kick themselves for not offering Kirkwood a full scholie in a few years from now. Chow and the Coaches are going to develop Kirkwood and Higdon into Stars and those East Coast schools just missed the boat.

Looks like he's really raw. Rutgers was in the mix, but only because they were near home. He's going to love the warm weather in Hawaii. I know for sure, I miss it.

Much Aloha to this kid going cross country for an education and an opportunity to play some ball. Coach Chow mentioned he's a prime example of a recruit who wants to be there. Good luck to Mr. Kirkwood.
