Rough game yesterday. Signs of promise though. Hard to tell versus the # 1 team in the nation with almost their entire offense back.
Unfortunately, we won't know the true talent of our team with Lamar coming here in two weeks. They just got shut out in their opener.
After that we huge MWC welcome game in Nevada who looked good in going to Berkeley and knocking out the Bears.
BYU looked pretty unstoppable in wiping out Mike Leach's debut at WAZZU.
UW's defense held down San Diego St in QWest/Century Link/Whatever Seahawk stadium.
Bob Davie wins in his debut against Southern, but gets a real test next week against Texas.
CU continues to struggle as they lose to in state rival CSU in the Rocky Mountain shootout. Not looking forward to going back to altitude later this year.
Fresno gets its first win under its new coach but also has a crazy test next week going to Oregon to take on the crazy fast Ducks offense.
Boise's cinderella season streak ends with its first game of the season looking dismal offensively without their 4 year starter Kellen Moore. They have a week off to figure it out before taking on the Miami of Ohio.
Air Force whips up lowly Idaho St, but will most likely get a PO'd Michigan team next week who got embarassed yesterday by Bama.
UNLV can't last the 3 OT's in their opening loss to the Golden Gophers.
And S. Alabama loses to new WAC member Texas-SA.

Glad our Warriors escaped unscathed yesterday. Lots to learn from, and hopefully it'll make us better for the rest of the season.

b]very Improtant message[/b] ThIs is is what Happen. (USC GAME)

HAWAII TEAM IS VERY YOUNG USC TEAM STARS ARE SENIOR AND JR BESIDES MARQUIS LEE mike Edward showed he had NFL TALENT WHEN HE LOCKED DOWN ROBERT WOODS. Our linebackers was very good..we need a lost of work on our safeties and oline but we are lookin pretty good. The oline couldn't get a push for the running backs but will Gregory looks ready and joey iosefa ..... QB(Sean s) he looked like a future 2/3 round draft pick but the reason he did preform good was because every play he was pressured and he steal got the offense moving he was getting hammered :boxing:

For Hawaii's future we need wide receivers that fight harder for the ball for Jeremiah Ostrowski did not play with that senior emotion either did (DE) Paipai Falemalu he did have no sack bug he had some good tackles but they all ways said good player make bIg playes durIng bIg games and Paipai Falemalu didn't proform..

key players for future HawaII:1DEJON ALLEN, 2TAYLOR GRAHAM, 3 Demar Dorsey, 4 Duke Bukoski

(Top 3):1DEJON ALLEN - he so explosive at the line of scrimmage ALLEN IS HAWAII'S #1recruit overall he has sec talent..
2 Taylor graham- he was highly recruited at Ohio state and it good for Sean s to have some competion at QB
3. DEMAR DORSEY- HIM JUST HAVING THAT experience he will be locking down and helping mike Edwards which is already good!!!

Our guys getting rested for our first home game of the season.
Lamar gets their first win of their season against Prairie View A&M. Lets hope they come here for a vacation and our guys can get some momentum to start a tough stretch in the schedule.
USC has a slow start, but handles the Orangemen of Syracuse in NYC. Big game this week against the Luck-less Cardinal of Stanford as they start their conference schedule.
Nevada loses their home opener to the Bulls of South Florida. They get a warm up game before they come here to play us next week.
BYU whips up fellow in state school Weber St. They host Utah who just lost to another in-stater, Utah St, as well as losing their starting QB, as he ends his career with another shoulder injury.
San Diego St gets a big win by beating up on Army. They host North Dakota.
UNLV gets killed by Texas in a money game. Not looking any brighter as they go to Texas Tech this week.
Colorado St has a let down this week after beating their rival CU last week. They go down to lowly North Dakota St.
Fresno hangs around in losing to top ranked Oregon. They get the Buffaloes this week.
Boise St has a bye before hosting Miami (OH)
Air Force makes it interesting against Dennard Robinson's Wolverines but go down.
UNLV loses to Northern Arizona. Go to WAZZU this week.
S. Alabama gets their first win in a FG fest.

Let's go Warriors this week! I know the opponent is Lamar, but lets hope the home fans show up to support the new coach and new team. (Also hope the students ended their "ban" and show in force as well)

Nice to get Coach Chow and this team their first win this weekend. Gotta keep things in perspective though. It was Lamar. And hard to tell by the first game of the season too, USC. Special teams went off last night. A blocked punt, returned for a TD, a kickoff return for a TD and a recovery of a fumble on a punt. Love the aggressive D. We did have some stalled offensive series, but its a work in progress and it's going good. Nevada will be a huge game next Saturday. They knocked off Cal to start the season but lost to S Florida and beat up on their Div-1aa opponent last week. Lets hope the fans show up and rock the stadium.

Here's how the rest of our opponents did.
USC lost its chance at a national championship going to Stanford and getting upset. They couldn't run the ball again (they didn't do so hot against us either) and the Cardinal got to Barkley. So much for his Heisman run too.
BYU lost a crazy one to Utah in the last seconds of the game. Utah had just lost to Utah St last week, and Utah St gave Wisconsin all they could handle this week, so we'll see how the Cougars do AT Boise this week.
San Diego St beat up on Div1AA N. Dakota, but also let up a lot of points too. They host a hot San Jose St this weekend.
The Lobos get blown out by the Red Raiders of Texas Tech. They go to Las Cruces for their rival game against the Aggies of NMSU and Hawaii's Manley.
The Rams lose in Silicon Valley. Not looking so good after beating the Buffs to start the season.
Speaking of the Buffs, they go to Fresno and get their hides handed to them. Might be a coaching change there as they haven't even started their PAC-12 season yet.
Boise hosts another blue school in BYU and could be a shootout as the Broncos found their offense against Miami of Ohio.
Air Force had a bye as they prepare to lowly UNLV.
UNLV lost its shootout against WAZZU.
And S. Alabama goes down to NC State but have another tough one against the Bulldogs of Mississippi St this week.

Go Warriors! Hope the fans show up in force this Saturday. It's an early start at 430, so plan wisely!!!

Ouch. 7 TDs for one player? I had flash backs of Faulk, Tomlinson, Dayne, Matthews... Not sure where our stout run D went, but it was absent last night. No time to worry though, short week. Off to Salt Lake City we go to face the Cougs in their home town. They didn't have a great road trip at Boise last week. Whether it was Boise's D or their bad qb play, they lost 7-6. Gutsy call by the head to try to go for 2 to take them out. Boise looked pretty pathetic offensively too, as they failed to score an offensive td for the 2nd time this year.
Anyways, here's how everyone else did:
USC got back on the winning track taking out the Cal Bears. They get a week off before heading to Utah.
Lamar also gets a win by shutting out Langston.
Nevada should get an easy one at Texas St next week.
San Jose is having a good year beating up our next next opponent San Diego St winning by 3.
The Lobos beat in state rival Aggies but head to the Blue barf turf next week.
Utah St also continues their great season by taking out the Rams.
Fresno loses at Tulsa, and have the Aztecs next week.
No tailhook scandal this time, but UNLV gets their first win of the season.
And Miss st takes out S Alabama.

Hope our guys can shake off the ugliness of last night and focus on the road game this week. We'll need to reset and get some good practices in before leaving early for Friday.
Go Warriors!!!

Ouch. Rival. Shut out. Injuries.
I'm glad that no one got hurt seriously, but two neck injuries are scary. Two more DT's go down, as well as a few others. Not a long week either. Gotta head out to SD for another road trip. Defense is hurting, giving up another huge running outburst by BYU.
USC had a bye week, so no trojan news and head to Utah this week.
Lamar loses to SE Louisiana
Nevada roughs up new WAC member Texas state. They got wyokie's Cowpokes this week.
San Diego St puts up 40 but still loses to Fresno.
BYU hosts hot in state rival Utah St this week.
New Mexico puts up a tough fight before losing to Boise. They get Texas St next week.
Colorado St loses its 4th in a row to neighboring Air Force and hosts the Bulldogs this week
Boise heads south to Southern Miss. We'll see if Boise's offense is back.
UNLV was Utah St's latest victim and go to WAC's La Tech
And Troy gives Southern Alabama another loss.

a big week for our guys. need to shed the loss, heal, and prep for the Aztecs. then get on a plane, adjust to the new time zone and strap it up.
Go Warriors!!!

Sorry for the late update. I was actually in SD to watch our Warriors play. Nice stadium. Nice field. Nice seats. Not so nice outcome.
Turnovers hurt us. I believe our D held its own as much as it could. Offense sputtered at times with the turnovers as well as stalled drives. We need to have everything clicking and to keep the momentum the whole game.
This week is homecoming. New Mexico has been playing good with new coach Bob Davie. They lost to Boise close 2 weeks ago after Boise put up a big lead early. They just beat up on current WAC member Texas St.
Let's hope this crazy humid voggy weather sticks around til Saturday and soaks them up.
USC is still on the rebound and takes out Utah in SLC.
Lamar goes down to NW St.
Nevada wins its 4th in a row taking out wyokie's cowpokes.
BYU's D wins them the game against in state rival Utah St who is having an awesome year.
Colorado St continues to struggle as Fresno visits and takes them down.
Boise heads south but still wins against the Golden Eagles of S Miss
Air Force loses against military rival Navy
UNLV loses big to La Tech

Lets Go Warriors! Shake it off, and lets get started on a winning streak of our own!

Tough tough tough. Option. Loved it when we ran it, hate it now.
Went down too much too early and had to claw back. Unfortunate turnovers again as well as stalled stalls. We need to have a complete game. Mike Edwards with another kickoff return for TD but also another fumble on another. We have a bye week this week to rest, recover and regroup. We face another 1 win team in Colorado St, but we have to head to Fort Collins and the altitude.
USC handles the Huskies in Seattle and gets some votes in the first BCS poll.
Lamar gets back on the winning track putting up 52 on McMurry
Nevada continues its winning streak by beating in state rival UNLV
BYU loses against the up and coming ranked Beavers of Oregon St. They host hot Notre Dame this week.
San Diego St hands the Rams another loss and head to Reno this week. Should be a high scoring game.
New Mexico gets to see another option team in Air Force this week.
Fresno comes back down to earth on the ugly blue field.
Air Force squeaks out a win against the cowpokes of Wyoming.
And S. Alabama gets another loss at Arkansas St.

the rough season continues. 5 turnovers compared to 4 for them. many stalled drives. we need someone to bless the team. anyone know a kahuna?
we head to fresno next week where they're having a good season.
patience, keep playing hard. keep the faith.

aiya, the losing streak continues. fresno pulls their starters in the 2nd half to keep it respectable. (i wonder if pat hill would've done the same). injuries, line issues, qb controversy??? different week, same issues.
boise lost this past weekend at home for the 2nd time in forever. there goes their slim hopes for any bcs type of bowl. their special teams let them down, and their offense hasn't done much. but it seems like we're the cure for any team's ailments. lets hope this nasty vog continues till saturday for the 2pm kickoff.
usc loses it's third in the first matchup with oregon in an offensive shootout. don't feel so bad about our db's getting blown by the trojan's receivers as they did the same to the ducks' fast corners as well.
lamar also has a losing streak as it went down to Steven F Austin
SDSU is enjoying a tie for the MWC lead with their win at the blue barf field.
UNLV wipes up UNM in LV
wyokie's cowpokes gets revenge for us by taking out the Rams. maybe its a good thing we didn't meet them this year. they scored more than we did in the last 3 games.
air force also has a tie for the mwc lead, but goes down to military rival army.
and s alabama goes down again.

not sure what to expect the rest of the season. just gotta remain a fan and stand by our team

i never thought i'd see this much red on my schedule. sure, this week's boise team wasn't a likeable win, but they weren't the crazy dominant boise team of year's past. they sure do miss kellen moore, but it seems like we're the cure for any offense.
this is the final 1/4th of the season, and according to my math, this is the easiest stretch of the schedule. what's not easy is the altitude of Colorado Springs and the AFA. They run the option to perfection and we haven't been the stoutest of run stoppers this year.
We might also have a new play caller at the helm, as Higgins played a much more consistent game. Hopefully he can provide a spark that we've been missing all year.

USC gets back on its winning track, but head to rival UCLA, who is surprisingly good this season. Then their big matchup vs Manti and Notre Dame.
Lamar gets its third win (wish we could say that).
Nevada lost its third in a row amazingly to a hot Fresno, but should get a nice break with New Mexico this week before resting for Boise afterwards.
BYU beats up head coachless Idaho of the WAC. They round out their year with two other WAC foes, SJSU and NMSU.
SDSU is the surprise of the MWC this year, winning their 6th in a row. The MWC title is in their grasps if they can take down wyokie's cowpokes (who isn't that bad this year even though he says they are).
Speaking of the cowpokes, they beat New Mexico this past weekend.
Colorado St also gets their third win of the year against UNLV. Lets hope that's a good sign for us when UNLV heads here in two weeks.
And S Alabama also has lost 3 in a row.

We shall see how the Rocky Mountain treats us this Friday.
