See highlight and interview videos of DL Joe Mathis.....from this past weekend's Los Angeles Nike Football Training Camp (NFTC)....
LA NFTC OL and DL Standouts Video: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=7765560
LA NFTC: Joe Mathis Interview Video: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=7764685
With Mathis already having been offered by all the big name BCS programs.....making Warriors a probable longshot, still kinda nice to hear Joe actually mention Hawaii....among all the programs that have offered him scholies....at the 1:14 mark of the interview video.
BTW, no way that Mathis can still play WR. Definitely built like a DL....a DE for now but maybe even a future DT.

Los Angeles All-Nike Camp team

NORWALK, Calif. -- Nearly 350 top prospects from California, Arizona, Nevada and beyond competed at the Los Angeles Nike Football Training Camp on Sunday at Cerritos College.
There were more than 100 prospects holding offers in attendance and there were several stellar performances, but only 24 can be named to Los Angeles All-Nike Camp team.
Note: Selections are based upon camp performance as well as past and projected on-field performance. Athletes are in the Class of 2013 unless otherwise noted.
DL: Joe Mathis, 6-4, 250, Upland (Calif.)
Breakdown: Mathis had a dominant day, perhaps the best overall of any player in camp. Displayed a great first step and used his hands very well. Hard worker who wants to be great.
